Went to the doctor today and got diagnosed with this, I play track and basketball and I told my coaches I have been having hip pain and they told me the best thing to do was run through it. It's really bad now and the doctor said i might need some extra procedures for it to heal properly, coaches should be smarter than that
Rest rest and rest. Once the patient is 0/10 with walking/daily activity, then gentle stretching and exercises. May take weeks to months. Once the growth plate fuses, no more issues. It is a cruel injury.

When you stand up and lean on the side of your hip it hurts in like a pinch feeling right ? (This is what I have)
I have a very specific pain on the bone on the crest.
Sore after running. Very sore to touch. Have I a stress fracture?
And the treatment is? Would have been helpful to mention.
