Akihiko’s voice actor sound way too old for his role in my opinion. I wish they got a voice that wasn’t so mature and deep. I just hope they make good social links, since I think original P3, since it was the first to have them, are the weakest in the series. Mitsuru’s voice actress also sounded like Sae. Though I wonder if they’ll do this with 4, doing a remake (which I think they will), I wonder if they’ll do non-union VAs like this game. And lastly, I hate the new portraits art style, like it looks like a fan made visual novel artwork, too cutesy.

I’ll be honest, at first I didn’t like they were using a new cast, but all the clips I’ve heard impressed me. I’m glad “Persona 3” is being given this remake so the fans that came in with “P4” & “P5” can see the game where thing like Social Links and the other aspects that make modern Persona the hit it is. “Final Fantasy” used to be the top turn-based JRPG, but I’d argue “Dragon Quest” and “Persona” have taken that spot.
