New ramen place opened near me on the Chinese Lunar New Year. Last night was my 12th visit, and the owner thanked me and stated I'm his number 1 customer.
👏👏👏🍜🍜🍜
Customer loyalty is what keeps businesses thriving 🙏🏼
I've eaten at a high-end tempura restaurant in Japan many years ago. It was so good! We sat at a donut shaped table with the chef cooking and serving us from the middle. You don't realize how good tempura is when its served hot and fresh.🙂
26:02 “I feel like I could keep eating” ever green.
My husband and I are planning on visiting Japan this year. Thank you for showing us where we can eat!
Perfect timing for dinner.
Strong

I miss Japan so much, North Queensland in Australia just doesnt have the same flavours and nightlife and its saddening
Have LOVED ramen for many years
I went this locations when I was in Shibuya City in March of last year. This is definitely a good spot to go to if you need some fast and simple. After a long day of walking around the city doing tourist activities.
Its a global city expect nothing less. Beautiful place and amazing people.
So awesome to watch. I love sushi
OH YES, The Steak House. Great place in shibuya. Was a good choice from daily ramen fest.
That tempura dinner was out of this world! I learned a lot from watching the chef. Can't wait to eat tempura again.
Just went to the one outside Ueno station when they opened at 9AM....so worth it. line moves quick.
That scallop was fried to perfection.
i miss those ichiran bowls, one in Brooklyn uses these weird rectangle bowls now.
The matcha pudding is a must at ichiran!
I love ramen
“Shibuyas still hoppin” 😂😂😂💀
That looks really good!
looking at the chef at the tempura place, that man never works a day in his life, he looks so happy and content
I love you Mikey, but all vinegar is fermented.
This ^ 😂
Did Mike say "to offset the cost of the vinegar"?
yep
Never had real Japanese Ramen, I want to try it!!!!
Same. 😭
Who else likes ramen 👇
New ramen place opened near me on the Chinese lunar New Year. Have had it a dozen times, and the owner told me that I'm the number 1 customer right now, lol!!.

The ramen men
Atleast twice a week, thank goodness for Nissin 😅
@@bethdoublekickchick8007Nissan Raoh ramen is so damn good
Love it!
The definition of living vicariously!
That vinegar in Ichiran is must addition for me. Elevate the flavour so much! But most people never even tried it

First time seeing Mike enjoying veggie😂😅
Fun Fact, your last name means Chinese in Cambodian. Tokyo is an endless city for foodies! Love Japan overall.
Everyone trying to have a quiet time at Ichiran. Then you got Mikey filming, yapping, and slurping like an animal 💀
you made me pause at 2:37 and IMMEDIATELY rush out and get a giant spicy ramen. Alright I'm back now. No longer capable of being influenced!
How does tuna get cooked very krickly?
I like how the Katana goes like Ma I Ku (Mike)
Mr. Chen is Sífu Food!
Had some ichiran ramen from the NY one when I went, super good, but I remember you saying that it doesn't even compare to the Japanese ichiran
Upvote if you would eat shooshi 🍣 made by Mike's jooshy oohmami tonkatsu hands
It'd be arhhmazing and the bEsT I've eVaH had
I've been waiting for your new ichiran ramen content, it's so good👍🏼
I like ramen but also enjoy a good udon too. Not too many reviews for udon or Nabeyaki udon.
Late night ramen🙌🏼 1:31

Stop playing with it eat it. And you have no clue man none!😊
Is Mike married yet 🎉
Awesome
I could eat ramen for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and a snack. I bet that Mike would say the same thing.
Me too 😅
Wow I was half paying attention to this episode while I'm eating my fried chicken. Of course my ears are perking up with the word tempura. 😂
Hi from Scotland hope you're all safe and well my friends 🏴👍😉✌️🏴
26:33 “The skirt steak is tough and tendony (sic). It is very jooshy”.
Carb overdose during Ohsumi sanctioned autophagy fast?
Hey Mike. This is fab.. You were enjoying every part of it. I hope that you and your family had a blessed Easter 🐇🐣 you ate good & was in good company. Enjoy!! 🐞🥰
i have always wanted to try real wasabi, i've heard such high reviews of it
Sugoi! I'm so envious!
I'd love to see you try an Ichiran Kaedama Challenge someday! It's a challenge where order and eat as many kaedama (or bowls if the soup runs out) before a certain self-imposed time limit runs out, often 1 hour to 30 minutes.
WOW AGAIN DELICIOUS!!!!!
Damn Man I ate at that one in shibuya last night! I head back to sf today
You missed out on the kangaroo steak. It is very good!
damn, Now I am hunger.
Does your VPN send the encrypted data through UTAH and vise versa?
Damn.... Mickey time for desert and went straight to steak house😂😂😂
He doesn't really over use the word umami. He just decided not to say savory as much😂😂😂
Umami and Savory are technically two distinct profiles. Savory generally refers to spicy+salty with little to no hint of sweetness and activates the salty taste receptors flanking the front portion of your tongue. Umami is used mostly in the context of meat dishes and refers to the salty+meaty taste that lingers for a while. Think of anchovies, for example.
Mikey's way better at eating sushi than making it.😂
Nice another paycheck from Ichiran
that shrimp head had me 😮😰
ラーメンを食べたいです
Get the kangaroo steak next time
“Only open till 6am” every place nearby me closes by 10pm except for Taco Bell and Kwik trip 😭
Yayyy am early today!!! And it's 2am here😁
I’ve never seen another Japanese person in ichiran ever.
Ok bro 👍🏻
I saw u at the Lansdown T&T!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a perfect day 😢
Hello, Mr.Chen!
When come again in Portugal?
You need see more! New citys and places have must more!
“Tonkatsu”
It’s actually tonkotsu (ramen) tonkatsu is fried pork cutlet 😊
@@KamihashindaaIndeed!
You’re expecting Mikey to use the right pronunciation/word? Come on, man! You’ll stress him out.
@@Kamihashindaa hence the "quotations"
Take a slurp of whatever drink or soup you have when Mike says Umami, juicy, fatty, and until we eat again, I'll see you later lol
Some of the food Mike eats at these restaurants probably tastes a lot better than they look! 😏😊🙂😅😊🙂😋😋
Went to the same spot! Loved having ramen for breakfast as well!
been Japan twice
I still yet to try Ichiran 😅
Dayumn son
Slurp it !
now vinegar adding umamiiiiiiii
Vinegar, especially fermented, is the definition of umami...
05:29 tempura dinner start
Oh that’s the sushi guys do a chicken fried steak?!!! LMFAO 😂😂😂
"The vinegar is gonna be really good with the tonkatsu".
It's "tonkOtsu"! "TonkAtsu" are a deep fried piece of pork. You should know this, Mike.
One day, I am gonna visit Japan only to have a bowl of Ichiran Ramen.
Pls more asian 7/11 noodle mukbangs
I thought that Mikey didn't eat raw fish hahaha. Surprised to see him eating it now. I guess it has grown on him?
Savoy 👑THE Best Tokyo-Style Neapolitan Pizza in the world! 💎✨👌
There are no ramen places anywhere near me so I make it at home.
“TonkAtsu”
“UMAMI”
This being posted at 4am in my time while I'm craving ramen at a place where everywhere is closed at 4am is so criminal. Love your vids btw since the dawn of time
You should live in Japan and do reviews exclusively in Japan.
Raaaaaamen!
Lost me at ichiran 😩 there’s good reason ichiran is closing hella branches
I would say it's because tourists are their main cash line and with tourism down it would hit them hard.
I absolutely LOVE ramen, but I was recently put on an extremely low/no sodium diet. Is there any way to make ramen that I would still be able to safely eat and not send my sodium levels through the roof??
Do you have high blood pressure?
Love you Hawn awesome content stay blessed Mikey 🤙🤙🤙🤙
I as an acidreflux sufferer I gotta know how it is that you can eat all the spicy and meaty stuff you eat and not SEEM to get heartburn LoL?
Alright, it's time for dessert... steak house, haha, that was awesome!
umami at 2:45. Man I thought maybe he could make it through but nope.
Can anyone tell me if this kind of ramen is salty? Can it be requested not to be salty if ever?
All ramen is going to be seasoned with a tare. Saltiness is subjective but it’s a sodium heavy dish. In my experience Japanese places don’t really do alterations or substitutions. If you need to restrict your sodium intake for dietary reasons you may struggle in Japan. Although I will say that a lot of people don’t normally finish the broth in their ramen, especially at lunchtime because it’s heavy and rich.
