Midnight munchis + your videos = 3 am happiness
Its 12 am where am at .
Depends where you live
Munchies*
5 am and I’m going to sleep now
Yeah why do I always watch these videos at night. Makes me so hungry 😂
This is one of the better videos in a while. Nice to see behind the scenes and what makes the noodles special which is really cool!
I recently got back from a month in Japan, tried Tsukemen for the first time and I’m pretty sure I had an outer body experience. By far one of the best meals I’ve had, period.
Your content is still my absolute favorite! I hope one day I get to travel to all these places and try this kind of food. Now I need a bowl of ramen
Looks amazing! Putting this on the life wishlist :D and definitely pinching the cold water trick to keep chewy noodles!
Your happiness when eating is always immensely palpable, Mike, and it's one of the biggest reasons I follow you. Also, your videos are fun, lighthearted, and classy, and I love that you can take me away from my mundane existence with your eating adventures. I gather this is an older video?
We will go to NY from Canada for the long weekend. The timing bro! Its getting cold here. Thanks for this! More food. More power. !
love your work bro!!
Thanks for the video. I'm here right now! Can't wait for my bowl to arrive!
So jealous! I use to work at the LA location, and cannot get that tsukemen out of my mind! So delicious no other place compares! They need to open up a location here again! 😭
I don't think so. Daikokuya and Santouka were far better ramen in general. The Tsujita chain opened La Artisan and their Tsukemen is pretty dang good as well (and the broth is far better). And, all the other top ramen chains in Japan are littered across LA now and introducing their versions as well (since its become so popular).
Why did they close their LA location down if it was so popular and good?
Tsujita is leagues better than Okiboru
@@RobertDhondrup I am specifically referring to the Tsukemen, the Daikokuya Tsukemen is basically just the ramen noodles and broth separated and lots of the ramen chains don’t even produce their own broth or noodles, there are other good ramen spots but they’re very few and not as fresh and authentic
@@Procrastinatingtiger um hello the pandemic
one whole video of you just slurping great ramen is a treat for me😄
We need to Go here ASAP and try Okiboru House of Tsukemen! You made it look so good lol 😁
I never miss your amazing and descriptive vlogs. Big up to the main man, Mikey👍🏽
I love when Mikey is invited to check out behind the scenes at restaurants and buffets ♥️
Cyrus?
Who TF miley is?? 😂
Lol I just realized my phone had autocorrected his name
Looks amazing and as usual love the Top
Great video Mike!
Amazing video 🥰🥰 I’m in Japan right now and Ramen is one of my favorite dishes.
Mike definitely has a wig on.
So glad I have this in Atlanta. Truly a flawless bowl of ramen
It looks better than the top ramen that I had for lunch today 😋
So great seeing how they made the noodles. They looked so delicious and loved the look of the sauce/broth to dip the noodles in. Wow.
I fell in love with the guy from the first place that made the noodles
Those ramen bowls were gorgeous, granted I've yet to enjoy the dipping one. I wish their business much success, in great health.
When you turned the corner in the second scene, 'that's Flushing!'🤗 , yelled from my mind, and there you were. Delicious food to be had there as well. *Punctuation edit.. At my most favorite hole in the wall place in SF's Chinatown, I was always embarrassed to request more rice and never did. I'm a plate cleaner and not one grain was ever left behind...
Great video, glad I saved it for the wakened hours..
Visiting in Kirksville last week and thought of you. That ramen looks amazing.
I love eating, thank you for sharing your beautiful videos
The guy should wear a hairnet when he makes the noodles. In fact all kitchen personnel should be wearing one.
난 그런 돼지국밥 꽁짜로 줘도 안먹는다
I thought I followed you all this time and I’ve been binging your account😭❤️
I love that in every video his shirts are always wrinkled! Packing. Balls them up, throws them in his carry on, pulls them out crinkle as EFF, He don't give AF cause my vids are always the BOMB!
Ramen is one of those dishes where you can literally put anything in it.
The bowl and Ramen co-exist with each other. The broth is the key and the sides that go inside the bowl are the enhancers.
I really love Ramen, I love Mikey's Videos. Can't wait until the next one!
Yeah thanks to China
Wow, looks so great! I'm sure you will be going to Japan eventually now that they are opening up, can't wait for that to happen soon! :D
Love the content Mikey keep em comming , appreciate you sharing food can't wait to travel for food!!!
Love watching your videos!! Keep up the good work !
I’m off the whole next week I’ll be sure to come here, I’ve been waiting ramen for the longest 😋
This guy’s blood pressure has gotta be through the roof with all of these vids
If I ever end up visiting NY I will deffo make a special trip to try this restaurant!
Can't wait to try it soon! :)
We have an awesome soup place in Quincy, Mass called Mr. Pickled Fish, reminds a lot of that fish soup you had. I literally order from there once a week, the signature pickled fish soup. Next time you're in the area I highly recommend.
Mike needs to get an iron. :D
It's interesting and inviting restaurant. The food looks sumptouos and mouthwatering. Cheers and have a blast.
This looks INCREDIBLE. Bummed to hear their LA location closed....maybe they'll reopen to save me a plane ticket :D
Shut up
They have a location in Atlanta if you’re close by.
When I see Mikey Chen has a new ramen video, watching it takes high priority on the to-do list!
1:24 dude is straight up gorgeous 😍
😍😍😍😍😍 Love all your vlogs
I was just here today and it was amazing!!!!
Excited to watch again. Your US and Europe vlogs are amazing.
I don't think I have ever seen Mike rendered speechless! But here it is. Left without words---must be amazing noodles.
I would love to have you visit Kizuki Ramen in Plano, next time you are in the Dallas area. We strive to deliver moments of joy through our authentic Japanese ramen, from the food to the decor and our one house philosophy we live by at kizuki.
I love your content :)
What sets you apart from other food vloggers, is how descriptive you are with all items. I can taste new flavours through my screen, just by listening to you!! Thank you for a wonderful and imaginative experience. You're awesome! 💜
Aysha: You can taste without actually purchase and eat indeed save lots money and time.
Agreed. A lot of food vloggers (not going to name any names because I try to be a nice guy) will also act like everything is delicious. Mike also have isn’t afraid to say that something could have been better or that it didn’t blow his mind. I’d eat where he eats and order what he orders.
@@wickedmikes5281 he is afraid of show ing offense to others.
I LOVE their tsukemen! For anyone that's not in NYC, they have two locations in Georgia(Sandy Springs and Duluth). I always go to the Sandy Springs location when I visit home :)
hey i got to watch thissss early omggg
i love this channel
Whenever I feel like snacking. I watch Mikey.
Thank u for always keeping us up to date with the food spots !!Appreciate you bro ! 🎉❤
thank you for watching!
I’m in NYC and I’m definitely going !!!
Today is the Day to try this spot🎉 we’re from Germany and are very excited
Love the channel and your vids!!! What’s that opening song?
There’s an Okiboru in Atl and it blew my mind. So good.
I want that first bowl soaked in the broth! never been a fan of dipped doodles to each their own
I love watching your video I’m gonna subscribe❤❤❤❤
By running the noodle dough through the machine a few times you stretch out the gluten strands, that’s in part why it’s got such great mouthfeel.
That top ramen looks delicious I would love to try some time
Big up for another great video😉a BIG hello from us vlogging from Dubai
those noodles have that GLOW
The second location you went to there’s a really nice Japanese BBQ it’s called Gyu-Kaku on the next block it’s really good I go at least twice a month. Highly recommend
I just finished a big meal and yet i feel like eating some more because of this hahaha the way he describe the flavors is just amazing
You make noodles look so good. Everytime I eat similar dishes from restaurants, it never tastes as good as it looks on your vids 😂
I want to thank you for doing all of this research for us. I so so so so appreciate it.
Now, i’m so envious of you eating those noodles bowls. Tomorrow, I will check in my city for this kind of restaurant. So disturbing in my mind
Mike got speachless on the first bite had to go for a second
You are so very influential. I have loved almost all of the spots you have suggested! Looks like I might not have to cook dinner tomorrow night :)
Thanks Bro!
I ate at the Okiboru in Atlanta with my family. We got every item on the small plates menu, a sake flight, we all had ramen, and dessert all for $287. It was amazing too but I was really surprised at how affordable it was.
sheesh that looked insanely good
❤😊
I gotta try that ramen 🍜 place on my 😅 next NYC trip
Hey Bear Face 🐻

Those fresh noodles look delicious and beautiful
i love your videos looks amazing! Thank u for always keeping us up to date with the food spots !!Appreciate you bro ! 🎉❤
Loving the videos! Are you back in the US for a while?
Nice video! I'm Japanese but I didn't know about this ramen restaurant. Looks delicious😊
Lol everything is fragrant when you literally inhale your food
Awesome
You should go to the Morehead/Emerald Isle/ Jacksonville/Beaufort part of North Carolina there are some great local seafood restaurants such as Blackbeards, Sanitary (has had some great famous people eat there) Rucker John’s, Bouge House Restaurant, T&W Oyster Bar (especially during this time of the year ) also get ice cream at Simply Natural etc also get the North Carolina BBQ at almost any place you can. Plus beautiful beaches and a lot of history especially in Beaufort where BlackBeard’s home was.
I hope they stay alive through the future recession. I pray everyday, I hope all these good people and Mike’s family get through this.
do they make ramen noodle machines for home use?
I can only dream about food tour. Getting out of my country and get culture shock.
I really like the way you describe the food you eat, another amazing video ❤️
Agreed. He doesn’t just tell you THAT something is good, he tells you how and why he thinks it’s good, and he doesn’t force himself to say something was good if it was only mediocre. Good cooks become great cooks only through honest feedback.
Minus that fake word "umami"
Hey Mike!! I want you to go to San Diego to try some food from The Melt!
It have some mac and cheese and some great burgers!!
Btw Love that video and i love noodles!🍜🍜😍😍
The ever ongoing search for the perfect bowl of ramen.
I miss tsukemen in Japan 🤤🍜
you can hear mikey trying to contain all the saliva in his mouth when he sits down with the noodles
