Admech definitely lucked out with solid secondaries, also looking much better with new doctrina. Just wish we could get updated detachments. (Or beyond all hope I know, get those sexy new plastic Horus heresy robots 40K rules)
@@timmsnation723 yeah and the robots smack hard, especially on 3+WS but I kind of want to see how ruststalkers would do as a melee replacement. You’d be able to field 30 for the same price as a 4 man robot unit with datasmith.
Very close when you include the data smith...so I think rust stalkers have an amazing data sheet BUT ad mech are not in short supply of anti infantry weapons. Taking 30 of those guys would be difficult to hide and you would probably loose a lot more of them before they make it to combat...now if we are talking SHC builds and maybe like 10-20 they can deffinetly be a speed bump. What inlike about the robots is there super durable and provide a weakness admech have...high strength and damage to deal with vehicles and tough units. That's how at least I feel for now...maybe after this weekend my opinong may change but the robot stat line to me is welcomed in a codex that doesn't have a lot of high strength melee threats.
Most Custodes armies do better with fixed objectives. Don't have the units to spread out and/or perform actions. Especially if you're taking "fun" units in your list.

Yes the secondaries are much better this time around
Plus the list was buoy to throw stuff at my opponent big enough to keep them busy while all the battle line score points

We noticed that after. It really does seem Ike custodes need a fixed plan in most matchups
