I was in Krabi a few years ago and was undecided where to eat. I searched a video of yours and Nong Jok was one of the reviewed restaurants. So I decided to go there to see why it had your tilting head approval. They have a crab curry that was one of the most unforgettable dishes I have ever tried, and if it wasn't you Mark, I would never come across the restaurant. Whether in Thailand or around the world, you help me a lot where to find the best food. Kop khun krap from a Portuguese living in Bangkok :)
I'm always amazed by how you've managed to highlight how diverse each country's cuisine is but at the same time showcase the similarities we all share! I'm from Trinidad 🇹🇹 and one of our local delicacies is Bus up Shut Roti also known as Paratha Roti and our version can vary in sizes but it's finished off the same way as the chef did by putting it in a cloth and 'clapping' it together with our hands! Thai food is the BEST cuisine in the world. When I was travelling Krabi province I was in heaven everyday with the beautiful flavours, versatility and heat of southern thai food!❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥

I lived in Krabi several times and love it. The chicken you had looked delicious and at weekend walking street downtown there are several good chicken vendors with similar chicken. The other thing is night market at the wharf where you can get the best grilled red snapper and other fish that is delicious and inexpensive. I would mention good dim sum around the area, as well. You brought back fun memories.

That sauce that goes over the fish and the shrimp cooked in that style I've never seen before. Something new. It is all grand and glorious!!!!

I went to Krabi and stayed at the Sheraton. They filmed the second Hangover movie there . We ate across the street every night and it was awesome family owned place with a gray cat they would walk through the restaurant. I loved it! Such nice people !!
