    If you don't prefer artifact ramp, why not try enchantment ramp since that's her theme? Cards like Utopia sprawl, Fertile Ground and Overgrowth. There's some non-Aura ones you can use too that you can later animate.

    Want to point out another win con with parallax and wave is grim guardian. Since the etb of the blinks will trigger the damage effect so this gives you another potential combo piece in the equation without having to rely on the mill.

    Consider enchantment ramp in place of artifacts. Wild Growth, Fertile Ground, Overgrowth are all super efficient ramp spells, and you can go much deeper if you like. They are auras, so you can't reanimate them with Anikthea, but you will benefit from synergies like Enchantress draw or constellation triggers.

  • @seductiveswine7387
    @seductiveswine7387 Год назад +6

    One of my personal favorite Anikthea combos is with this cute little enchantment called Out of Time. Definitely janky, but you can use Anikthea's trigger to reanimate it as a token (you should probably get rid of Anikthea before its trigger goes off), at which point it will phase out all creatures on the battlefield including itself, potentially permanently removing your opponents commanders from the game. Hilarious!

    • @loganmoore7814
      @loganmoore7814 Год назад

      But phasing out counts as leaving the battlefield right? Wouldnt it just not work?

    • @seductiveswine7387

    Some cards & combos I run in this deck are
    Full flowering, its an XX{G} Sorcery that has you populate X times, its really busted when you have 20 copies of Collective Blessing on the battlefield and all of my creatures are 60/60s.
    This combo is a little interesting but I also run Skybind and Eternal Witness which basically means whenever an enchantment ETBs I can blink Eternal Witness and return any cards I want from the graveyard to my hand.
    Anyways love this commander and those are some cards I use :)

  • @kittymcjesus149
    @kittymcjesus149 Год назад +1

    Cheap Mill/Card Draw Spells, Self-Saccing Enchantments, and zombie synergy seem very vital here.
    I'm going to run cards like [[Ransack the Lab]], [[Mulch]], [[Commune with the Gods]], [[Relentless Pursuit]], [[Wasteful Harvest]], and [[Vessel of Nascency]].
    Cards like Vessel are great because they ensure we have targets to pick from after we sacrifice them. [[Sinister Concotion]] also mills and acts as a discard outlet. [[Font of Fertility]], [[Sunspring Expedition]] is essentially 16 life for 1 mana, [[The Binding of the Titans]], [[Elsepth Conquers Death]], and [[Tyramet Calls the Dead]] are all Flavorful AND put themselves in the graveyard for use later.
    [[Tyramet Calls the Dead]] works with the zombies you'll make. [[Putrid Imp]] let's you Discard enchantments you want to Bin and is a zombie itself. [[Endless Ranks of the Dead]] can get out of hand if you start copying it. Etc.
    Finally, [[Astral Drift]] to blink Anikthea for more reanimation. Cycle to Bin it and to get a free trigger. Run some Cycling cards like [[Migration Path]], [[Wilt]], [[Cast out]], or Cycle lands to make some fun plays.
    That's my plan.

    Worth noting with Parralax Wave and Opalescence, you not only can infinitely blink all your enchantments, you can also permanently exile your opponent's creatures if you choose to remove fade counters after the one you're using to blink Parralax Wave itself. The LTB trigger would happen first, then the exile of opponent's creatures, which never come back since Parralax Wave is a new object.

    • @omarnuneznavy
      @omarnuneznavy Год назад +1

      Can you please explain how it is infinitely? I am trying to understand the combo because Parralax wave, remove one counter so how can you remove more than one to exile both the commander and the parralax wave in the same turn?

    • @MrMac1219
      @MrMac1219 3 месяца назад

      @@omarnuneznavy Any activated ability that doesn't require being tapped or isn't restricted to "X per turn" can be done as long as you have the required cost.
      Parallax puts 5 fade counters on itself with ETB. Active ability "Remove 1 Fade counter: Remove Creature" You can do this 5 times because you have 5 counters. Now with Anikthea or Opalescence turning Parallax into a creature you can remove itself causing it to come back and put 5 new counters on, rinse and repeat.

    I would also add Daxos, The Returned and Pharika, God of Afflictions.
    Pharika allows you to make black/green enchantment snake creature tokens by exiles a card (I think a creature card).
    Daxos allows you to get experience counters. Then pay black and while to create a black/white enchantment creature spirit token.

  • @MrMac1219
    @MrMac1219 3 месяца назад

    Pull From Eternity may be worth it over Riftsweeper seeing as it immediately puts the card into the graveyard to be used again.
    I wouldn't go too hard on Enchantress draw effects probably 3 (Sythis and Presence being the best as they are enchantments) at most with the constellation draws then some more enchantment based draw engines (Elemental Bond, Sylvan Library) or mill/card selection stuff like Vessel of Nascency or Grisly Salvage.
    Blink can be very valuable to guarantee more triggers from Anikthea as she will be a prime target for removal. Teleportation Circle and Far Traveler are the best as you could curve up with both into Anikthea.
    Ojer Taq may be expensive at 6 mana but that's actually perfect if you curve into it witha surviving Anikthea to triple up on her attack trigger.
    Enchanment Ramp is likely preferred over the traditional land fetch. Stuff like Utopia Sprawl/Wild Growth cannot be reanimated but are both great turn 1 ramps. Sanctum Weaver is just a no brainer for Enchantments, Mirari's Wake, Exploration and Dryad of the Ilysian Grove are great as well.
    Actually didn't catch the Basalt Monolith combo in my build and may try to find space for that.

  • @omarnuneznavy

    I need help understanding the final combo. Parallax wave says to remove a fade counter at the beginning of your upkeep. So that does that mean in one turn, you excel the commander at the upkeep than wait the next turn upkeep to remove parallax wave??? im just confuse about the whole combo of it.

    The Parallax Wave combo won't work if you do it in the "classic" way, where you exile 4 cards holding priority and then exile Parallax wave to itself though.
    You'll have to exile Anikthea. Then, after resolving, exile Parallax Wave. Otherwise Anikthea will never see the Parallax Wave that exiled her leave the battlefield

    Btw when you have both Parallax Wave and Opalescence out, you can permanently remove all of your opponents creatures.
    Target up to 4 creatures you want to get rid of, hold priority and with the last counter, exile the parallax wave. It will leave the battlefield, triggering its own ability to return all exiled cards (which is only itself right now) Once its back, you let the other triggers resolve. Since the wave that just entered is now a different one than the one that exiled all those creatures, they will remain exiled even if this version of parallax wave leaves the battlefield.
    These two cards also provide you with infinite constellation triggers by just exiling the wave with its own effect again and again.
