hi if I bought the device license, should it be a free upgrade or do I need to pay for the upgrade?
If you bought a license after October 2020 you will get iMazing 3 as a free upgrade!
As a long term user of iMazing , I'm disappointed to see that they haven't included any functionality to rearrange app icon across screens (based on the info I've seen). This ability has been lacking since Apple stripped iTunes of this functionality for Windows users and doesn't appear to be offered in any of the products I've seen in the market. The new Apple Devices app I've seen in the Microsoft Store doesn't seem to have it. Judging by the loads of comments I've seen online, iPhone users really want a way to manage/rearrange the apps and pages. The primary thrust of this upgrade seems to be about refactoring of the old code base to provide the same functionality. I think this was an opportunity missed to really set iMazing as the gold standard 'do it all' iPhone management app.
This is on our list, iMazing 3 is designed to be adding new features easily and regularly, so stay tuned!
Came to say the exact same thing. I could not have chosen better words. So I will just confirm that since Apple stripped this from iTunes, this is both a VERY WANTED FEATURE and something that NO PRODUCT ON THE MARKET does. You see, we all end up with dozens of apps on our phones, sometimes sunken inside groups, and apparently the only way Apple intends us to cleanup the icons layouts on our screens is by doing it one by one with our finger. Seriously. 2024, from the company that was once known for best UX. So anyway, I confirm: huge market opportunity.

Looking to buy license. Now I’ll use this before I can make my mind
Does "rebuild from the ground up" mean that the current connection issues have finally been solved? I just finished a backup from my iPad. Had to start the backup three times in iMazing 2 and enter the device lock code twice. And of course backup over wifi was not possible so I had to fall back to usb.
WiFi connections are depending on numerous factors, of which most are out of iMazing's control. I some cases reverting to USB is the way to go!
@@DigiDNANetOfficial This happened on USB. As that is a regular annoyance: Will the rewrite fix that?

If you bought your license after October 2020 you'll get the upgrade for free, alternatively you should be eligible to a discount up to 50%
Beware. You will still need to purchase an additional license of $35 per device (this was not the case in previous versions). Once you connect a device or an old back up, there is no way to unlink and your 3 links are used up. The old version will work fine. Don’t buy until they fix the licensing or provide a better option.
first upload in 3 years can i still use it for free and will i be able to install unsupported apps
Just make sure you update to the last version, and yes the app management feature is a free one, but unsupported app will unfortunately be an issue -- especially if it is an iOS version support issue. Hello I have a problem on manage apps when I try to install ipa or app it says “connection to Apple Server failed make sure your internet connection is availaible” my internet works but on app is a problem what to do ?

exactly! Shouldn't the differences be the FIRST things they should showcase? And, also to explain what happens if you follow the prompt to download the beta version.. So the beta is a free download, and then what? When it's "alpha" you have to either pay for it, or "downgrade" to V2 again?..

The new version 3 only allows you to link three devices then you have to purchase additional licenses at $35 each. This includes accessing old backups. Stick to previous version and don’t pay for an upgrade until they provide better options. PS version two does work fine in the newer OS on Mac. Don’t believe the warning you get.
can i install apps like "RUclips" from the app manager if i can't i don't recommend this

Sad to see this doesn't have the ability to rearrange the apps on the PC. I figures it did but I just couldn't figure it out. Lets hope you don't include this in another release which we have to purchase. It needs to be in this release. This probably the number one wanted feature and it's not here. Sorry I upgraded.
Hi, we plan to include this feature in a future release, likely iMazing 3.1.
Oh, and don't be sorry, your upgrade includes all upcoming versions, as soon as the feature is available it will be yours!
Hey dude can you help me man 😭 I accidentally deleted an app that was removed from the app like not where it's still in my library like it's deleted and I cannot get it back sir do you know how I can get it back I'm going to cry because my memories with it was on their I deleted it on both iPads because I didn't think their was a way to get the app back and now that I've found out with iMazing I'm going to cry so bad because I deleted it and I didn't see the app that was removed from the App Store on the search option and also I did not see it in my purchased apps because it was gone I tried searching for it everywhere and couldn't find it and also their is no IPA file for this app their is no way to get it back with all my data and restore it, I'm so sad if you can help me find a way I will be so happy. 💚💛

the final version of iMazing 3.0 for both Mac and Windows early next year.
CAUTION! Version 3 is a money grab. You only have three links to use which includes accessing old backups for an iPhone 5 or an iPhone 6. Once you have accessed those backups, you can no longer connect any more devices unless you purchase an additional license at $35 each. I did contact technical support and they required me to prove proof of recycling that the device is no longer exist for phones that were recycled in 2016 and 2018. Previous versions did not do this. I no longer recommend this software.
We are honestly sorry our Device based license does not suit you. While it offers an alternative to a subscription (that we propose too) and lets our users to choose how many devices they want to license, and for these doe not limit the number of computers on which they want to run iMazing (Mac or PC) and provides unlimited and free updates, forever.
