What a great capture of all the fun you can have by carving freely, relaxed and full of peace with a board. Their turns are so smooth and the music does the rest. This video should be used as introduction for all new and old snowboarders out there! This is it!
This video makes me so happy. We had a similar (although not as early) session at Annapuri a couple weeks ago. Such an accurate representation of the vibe there!
It's all about shoulder rotation as you start your heel turn. Fully rotate your upper body as you finish the toe turn and begin your heel turn squat still rotated. This pushes your butt really far forward and allows the rest to happen fairly effortlessly
lol 2:39 looks kinda like having a chill walk in the nearby park at a nice winter day. At least to me, probabaly cuz in the Alps the trees and the overall vibe looks different.
@@Stokenstein Evo.com sells Gentemstick and Moss Snowstick snowboards. They are very expensive though. If you are looking for something like Gentemstick TT which is my favorite model, don't think you will find something that has a similar shape with a 11m+ sidecut radius. You can look into United Shapes or Korua Shapes. They make great looking directional boards for a more fair price.
rsyjseo Thanks! I have a Spring Break Slush Slasher 151 at the moment. It has an 14.2 sidecut! 😂 Think I’d get a little more out of lesser waistwidth and 11 sidecut? Have a lot of fun on the Slush Slasher carving around similar to y’all.
@@Stokenstein Those boards are a bit stiffer than Slush Slasher and are longer with a narrower waist width. I won't really say they are more nimble than the Slush Slasher since its so short and you can whip the tail around. But they will be more stable at higher speeds and the narrower waist width gives really fast heel to toe transitions. Just different boards that give you different feel when you are riding. Won't say you will necessarily get more out of those boards, just a different feeling to the ride.
Slope hogs! This is how I imagine everyone rides in Europe. Just kidding, great turns. Oh man, groomed with a few inches on top, I'll be a slope hog too!
My quads are burnt out just by watching this 10 mile run.

Man those carves are so clean.
Gosh, it’s just beautiful!!!!
Beatiful! I was there with you the whole time. Such a long and wide slope and no people, heaven!
Love all your vids!!

Music and styles make it seem like I'm watching one of the old burton videos from the early 80's, only in HD!
Good job editing the video

Oh that it some hero snow right there!!!!
That sick carve at 1:34 was just awesome. I gotta learn how to do that!

アンヌプリ私も大好きです!
This is probably the first time I've seen real carving. It's all park footy, deep pow or contest videos
Check out Ryan Knapton now ne really really carves
Ryan is next level.
He carves badass while still in duck stance config
check out ryan kanpton on here
@@nizam_mr He carves so well switch and I'd imagine it's his duck stance that aids that.
Craving down runs like that is literally my favourite thing on earth to do.
Wow, I had to watch it again before commenting. What style, as if they were riding giant wave. Snow Surfer Movement?

Most of them ride Japanese brand snowboard models like Moss Snowstick and Gentemstick
@@omarobin Any American or available in America brands doing similar shapes?

Man you need Ryan Knapton to make some turns
These arent grommed runs and those arent carving boards...
@@jakaberdajs730 Thanks for the clarification. It just look so hard packed. Definitely something fresh from all pow clips.
@@jakaberdajs730 They are definitely groomed runs
