The thunder at 1:18 and 4:08 were the loudest ones. I don't mind thunderstorms too much as long as the sky doesn't turn really dark in the middle of the afternoon. Those are the scary ones.

positive lightning strikes from the top of the storm I believe cause louder thunder due to being much hotter than the negative strikes from the base of the clouds

@@zacharymastrangelo7452 I live in New Jersey and we don’t really get them bad but sometimes we get some real doozies. It seems we are getting more reports of tornadoes in this state every year also. Even getting thunderstorms now when the temperature is in the 40s. ??!

I started to record every storm in the Houston area two years ago, and I was fortunately enough to record this particular storm. It was an amazing storm indeed, I have an almost two hour long audio recording. I hope that the up coming El Nino brings more storms with it.
If you ever upload that with a black screen, let me know. The black screen “help you sleep” videos on RUclips don’t sound as good as a full on Houston storm - it does the trick, but I definitely miss Houston’s rumbling thunder and thunder crashes.

Thunder absolutely didn't sound like this. Men have sickened the skies with silver iodide. Texas has three seeding programs going on, if you look into it.. it's happening everywhere.
