I know what you mean! My former co-workers thought I was crazy for watching and liking summer thunderstorms. I used to live in Central Florida, specifically in the city of Satellite Beach. We had summer storms such as these almost on a daily basis. I live in Southern CA. but I'm planning to move back to Central Florida if I can make my financial plan work. I love these storms as I said. We lived in Florida from 1969 to 1971 when I was a child in elementary school. We left Florida in 1971 for CA. and have lived here ever since. We lived in Florida because my late father was in the Air Force and was stationed out at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Cape Canaveral, Florida. As a child, I used to before scared of lightning and thunder. But not any more! Great video!
I was born and raised in South Africa and even lived in SC for a while so big thunderstorms are in my blood. Living in the Uk now we rarely get any decent storms so these videos are amazing
Very cool lightening! I've never seen layered strips of lightening! Great thunder, too. The heavy rain could be seen in the near distance before it got to you. That was great. I hope your camera is okay. Thank you, very much, for this video. It made me smile and I needed to smile. 😀
Dayumm this storm was legit! Some of the loudest thunder ive ever heard. I’m your Next door neighbor here in Texas, we get some bad stuff too, but this kicked @ss!!
Yep. The boom at 10:58 was almost certainly caused by a positive flash, seen in only part of one frame at 10:56. Mature or dying storm, single quick flash, no return strokes, huge boom = hallmarks of positive lightning.
I love these videos, but my family thinks I’m crazy for watching them. I don’t think they’re boring at all

One of the best ways to learn these storms is to know the conditions that cause them…(keep up the great work and teach them around you)!!!👍👍👍💯💯💯
9:17 beautiful thunder sound
9:24 LIGHTNING STRIKE

5:28 probably my fav! I love „dry thunderstorms”
Awesome video. Looking forward to our next summer in eastern KY, if its at least as wet as last year we should be good with storms.
Who can ever forget Hurricane Elvis in August of 2003. We were without electricity for 14 days.
Lots of CGs! (CG is an acronym meaning cloud to ground lightning)
I love too hear clapping thunder!! Best sound ever
Close lightning. I wonder if the owner of that Tahoe wants to sell it. I'm kidding. Your neighbor's lawn needed a drink anyway.
What a powerful Louisiana thunderstorm!!!!! I think thunderstorms in the South are so big!!!!!
True. The South gets a lot of that warm, moist air right off of the gulf. ⛈️ 😊

Less sounds of keys and more sounds of silence but the wind, rain and thunder
This all sounds great ❤
We actually live in the same state, I'm in southeastern Louisiana. I video storms down there
I find some of the pauses in the sounds of nature a few seconds before the thunder to be a bit unsettling like in 14:22
So everyone is talking about lightening strikes and no one is talking about how heavy the rain is
FR RAIN IS LIKE 5 INCHS PER HOUR
I’m still watching it. 😊⛈️⛈️⛈️
