      Jupiter and proton pack?

    • @CaptainXavier
      @CaptainXavier  4 года назад +30

      ^ what he said. Once they are readily available. Even a small Proton Pack will give you more fire power than almost any mag fed Heavy Loadout. My smallest proton pack (which a child could easily run) holds over 400 rds. Equal to almost 20x 22rd mags.

    • @benjaminteague5123
      @benjaminteague5123 4 года назад +8

      Another up vote for the proton pack. They can be made in any size backpack carrier you want so you could very easily Choose Your Capacity based on what you can carry. The largest day packs that you can find are about that 2,000 mark. You could very easily get 500 to 1000 in a small or medium Daypack

    I plan on running a hunter-heavy load out. I’m gonna build an auto stryfe/swordfish with an FN FAL kit on it which will be getting a wood grain paint job on the kit itself. I’m gonna run a battle belt with dump pouch, mega hammershot, 2 triple mag pouches stocked with a total of 6 15 round mags. Essentially I wanna carry out ambush attacks on zombie columns in short detachments from larger units. A stampede with some sort of short brass breach (to be able to feed half darts) and a minor spring upgrade. TK's loadout is an FDL3 supported by twelve 18 stick mags not counting the one in the blaster, with five mags in a chest rig, three in a velcro belt pouch, and another four in a drop leg, and yet he's still fast enough to keep up with Beret. I consider myself a heavy infantry but my loadout is a modified stampede and a battle belt with 2 18 dart mags in one pouch and 2 6 dart mags another pouch and I have an extra 6 dart mag in my bag I’m using to hold stuff like maps and other stuff like that but I’m using a raider drum as my first mag so is that still a heavy infantry loadout

    Ok, i have a bad but interesting idea, where would a Vulcan fit?
    Reasonings: (read if you want ideas)
    My friends and i do that often where we become a sort of MG raider unit, where we stack with 5 hoplites in front, vulcans behind and one officer/commissar to spot, snipe, and bust with demolishes targets that threten us as we slowly trudged tward the enemy point.
    Yes i know its cheap, yes i know its mean. But IF they could rally to divide our attention, they can easaly get us from the side, or just charge and hope one can break up the "tank". Theres also dispatching the "tanks" personal ammo bear and runner. The "tank" is useing Vulcans so we need ammo from somewhere.

    So would a hailfire fall more into the heavy or the medium infantry? Or would that depend more on the amount of ammo you're carrying in addition to the 8 mags in the blaster? Hailfire with 6rd mags -> light inf, hailfire with 18rd mags -> med inf, hailfire with 22rd mags + magbackpack with 15 mags -> heavy inf/ammo mule? Am I on the right track here?
    Love these loadout vids btw, can't wait for artillery and cavalry loadouts 😀

      I see it as more of a heavy infantry thing because of the rapid reload and high capacity. Captain Xavier your thoughts please.

    I'd like to see your opinion on the dartzone hopper fed blasters, they have released 2 in the past few years but I've only seen 1 person, walcom, cover them at any length

    Hi captain Xavier. Can you do a video on that double strike in your loadout. Because I've tried to mod mine and it look like you have a metal hammer on it? Also isn't hard to reload your auto stryfes when using them at the same time.

    • @CaptainXavier
      @CaptainXavier  4 года назад +1

      Not much to tell on it really. The hammer and trigger were given to me by "ze Germans." Other than that it has a slightly heavier spring.
      Nope. Holster one, reload from holster, draw again.

    I'm definitely late to watching this but I have to ask: is it possible to mod or adapt the Jupiter (the one in the video, not the new offical Nerf one) to use a proton pack?

    • @CaptainXavier
      @CaptainXavier  3 года назад

      It was quite literally originally designed for that. OOD has run dual Jupiter Proton packs at events. You can buy the adapter on his website. It is awesome.

    Hey cap i was woundering with the double AK pouches, you cut out the little devider flap in them and the cover flap right? I have not and my mags are a bit to snug but i don't know if it would be to loose otherwise.

    • @CaptainXavier
      @CaptainXavier  4 года назад +2

      I remove the divider but not the top flap. I tuck the flap into the pouch. That is enough to keep them from bouncing out.

    How about lawbringer pistols as sidearms? or is it hard to manage being a heavy with springers as secondaries?
    Just to clarify, this question is not one answered by the two intro videos, I'm just asking for opinion and advice.

      If you can find holsters big enough for Lawbringers then go for it.

    My Heavy Loadout:
    Primary: Titan CS-50
    Secondary: Thunderblast
    Armour: Homemade Cardboard body armour (Low mobility and visibility but scares all my enemies out of attacking me
    Gear: Radio on the left pec and motion sensor on the back of the head (to make up for low visibility)
    Ammo: 1 50 magazine and 2 25 round mags (100 rounds if you can’t math)
    Is this loadout good? Or should I change something? Btw my type of heavy is meant to maintain supporting fire from a bunker area in a pvp game.

    Would a Semi-Auto stryfle MK II (With the underslung magnus et al) be considered a Battle Rifle, Carbine or still an Assault Rifle? It _sounds_ like it'd be one of the former rather than the latter. I'm just curious what you would consider it. I'm not an active nerfer so I'm not asking for loadouts or anything.

    • @CaptainXavier

      "Accepted"? What do you mean by "accepted"? You can use whatever gear you want, I say that many times in these videos. Your loadout does not have to pass some arbitrary inspection or be approved by someone.

    A little off topic here, but...what is your recommendation on eye protection for people who wear prescription glasses? (and can't wear contact lenses for certain reasons). I've tried lab goggles, but the one I have isn't very comfortable. (Might try a different pair.)
    Would Face Shields (for woodworking/metalworking) be feasible?

    • @rickrebouche354
      @rickrebouche354 4 года назад +1

      I always get shatter-proof lenses in my glasses since my last couple jobs have always required eyepro on the job, they're not much more expensive than normal glasses.

    • @LightningEagle14
      @LightningEagle14 4 года назад

      I’ll agree with what others have said, but add that side shields are a good idea if you are using prescription glasses. Super cheap, and then you get the full wrap around protection that actual safety glasses have.
