Interestingly, it is one of the weapons I used least in the game, I don't think I even remember when I used it, but I recognize its performance. How is development going on Final Transmission, Ben? Good to see you!
They do give you a Shotgun at the start in Deep Sea but it's quite underwhelming. Probably better off just using the Falcon 2. Final Transmission has been slow as I'm quite indecisive about what direction to go with it but I'm still working on it.
@@BenColc I always preferred attacking enemies from a distance and that must be why I rarely used it. Well, don't be in a rush, all good work takes time to complete, stay strong and don't leave your talent aside. Good luck in your projects.
Ben, could you answer a question for me? Here's the thing, when you were programming GE25 and SPIES, did you use the EU blueprint or C++? And what would you recommend for programming a game?
When I was doing those I did them entirely in Blueprint. But now I do core mechanic things like movement and shooting in C++, while things like doors and destructible lights are in Blueprint. If you're doing something as simple as GoldenEye it can be done with only Blueprints. So it kind of depends on how complex the thing you're making is as well as if you yourself are interested in doing some C++ coding.
@@any_user758 Final Transmission is about 20% C++ and 80% Blueprints. For some math-heavy things like bullet spread I like C++ but for stuff that's closer to the art side of things I like Blueprints. Good luck!
@@BenColc Thank you for answering my questions and I'm sorry if I was inconvenient, I have projects in mind that I still wrote, as I have some concerns. Good luck with your projects!

Thank you very much for answering me! I just forgot to ask something else, which one have you been using in Final Transmission?
