  • After having arrived in Ajmer By the Vande Bharat train we struggled a bit with finding a hotel and it was very surprising that many hotels did not have the C-Form that they need to host foreigners but in the end we did find one so we could breath out. After that hunt we were hungry and wanted to go out to try a few snacks or get a proper plate of food whichever would be first. Not very far from out hotel was a popular chaat place that served a number of different foods which we wanted to to try and boy those were extremely good and popular. You have to try those chaats!!! But anyway, the city is not only very special for those chaats but also for some of the coolest buildings and temples that we have seen so far. Please do come a long with us and explore Ajmer a little.

      I dont want to travel like that and I refuse. We only book ahead when we stay somewhere for a long time and when we need an apartment, but not hotels. This c-form rule has to change, there is no way around it.

    I think there is no restriction for a foreigner to stay in hotels...The hotel management has to follow some guidelines, which they may not be interested to do (as the local demand will suffice them)

    • @yvesthesleeve
      @yvesthesleeve  8 месяцев назад

      They need to have a c-form, it's just a little work but it needs to be done. Of course it's completely stupid that they have that, they just want to have control which is an absolute illusion.

    • @rajeevanand3380
      @rajeevanand3380 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@yvesthesleeve this is not illusion, in a big country like India, it is required to locate and keep track of foreigner activity from safety and security point of view. Nationals from certain countries like Pakistan etc are even supposed to report at nearest police station regularly during their stay, do not get offended by it, keep enjoying the warmth and hospitality instead of making it complicated, your videos are enjoyable as the content is grounded and not superficial. 🙏
