- The day before we move on from Thrissur we are trying the pizzas they make here. Of course I could have gone to Domino's or Pizza Hut but I want something more local, so I went to another place where it costs more but feels like I am actually supporting more of the local economy. Anyhow, let's see how they made their pizzas there, I filmed how they made it and it looked really fingerlicking good. Let's bring them home and eat them with the family and see if they like it. Do I like it? Let's find out. Please give the video a like and let me know what you think about pizzas made in India. Also share if you care.

Ya pizza is better in Italy, Domino's pizza had to shut shop in Italy bc no one ate their pizzas as the italians prefer their own local pizza
But in India many people buy pre baked pizza base & add cheese and toppings on it at home and then call it home made pizza 😊

Onam, the harvest and cultural festival of Kerala state is just around the corner..You must not miss it!!! There will be snakeboat races, colourful floral decorations, onam sadya and other sweet dishes, lamp dance, tiger dance and get to wear traditional onam sari and mundu😍♥️

Though its not original thing but Ketchup on Pizza is very common in India. Ketchup adds a totally different taste. Maybe Indians are so used to spices that pizza without ketchup will taste too bland for us.

Honestly Ian, I or my family or my friends would never think about comparing with Pakistan. I mean, that would not be a natural thought for us.
Always, I/we eat Pizzas with a good smattering of Oregano seasoning (for it's salty taste mainly) and chilli flakes. Never ketchup. Wherever I go, I request for a green chilli topping and that makes mine perfect.
In Europe, I only ate a pizza in Rome and that was good. In India, there are plenty of great pizza restaurants that can take on Europe, you need to order from them.
Look on the net for pizza places in Thrissur and you will find some really good ones. Happy pizza party, dear family!
Further up north everybody compares everything with Pakistan and vise versa. But maybe not so much in Kerala. That pizza was actually a very good one.
@yvesthesleeve Really! I find that a bit strange. I am from the east, living my life in the southern part for five decades. My mind does not work like that. But they were India till about 76 years ago, which is a small number compared to the thousands of years of togetherness. I think their food and their food sensibilities will be similar to ours. Only India has a crazy amount of superb vegetarian food from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. And that I think gives us a greater spectrum and variety.
On a good day, I would think their pizza would be as good as ours, and why not!

But this one was actually quite pricey, much more than Pizza Hut and Dominos. And the quality was super good.
