Picture abhi baaki hai, dost :) He's been ahead of his time and far from the crowd throughout. I'm a strong believer that his path is truly that of a creative person, who makes choices that may not always get him where he wanted to go, but always where he needed to be. Thangalaan is a milestone in that path. PS was another recent one. Just that one viral answer during PS promotions got him how many new fans! (I was one). Veera Dheera Sooran will be the next, and he's nowhere near stopping, so I'm sure the world will catch up with him eventually. :)

He is arguably one of the best actors India has ever produced. I have not missed his any film in the theatres. When i was studying in Vishakhapatnam, I jumped my school boundary to watch the film. Later i was punished in the school but till today i have no regrets. The film name is "I" starring Vikram Sir. My most expensive movie i have ever watched in a theatre. I got the ticket in Black. I paid 2000 for the ticket price of 180. His song "Tu Chale" is still one of my favourite songs of all time.

I got teary eyed hearing all the struggles he went through when working in Kasi, Sethu, Anniyan, Deiva Thirumagal, and I. Nobody in this world would go to these extents to wow audiences like Chiyaan Vikram. I grew up watching and loving him since Kasi, Dhool, Arul, King, etc. After watching Deiva Thirumagal I had a feeling I was seeing some of the effects of that role falling into his performance in I, and it’s surreal to hear Vikram confirm that in this interview. As a Tamilian and Tamil cinema fan, this is the best ever interview conducted on a Tamil film star. I hope everyone shares this inspiring, positive video all over the internet because this man deserves the world to hear his story. Met him at a coffee shop at Hyderabad airport once..he was buying coffee standing in a queue for all his staff n friends. After getting all their coffee's another friend of his joins the group he again goes back and stands in queue to get her a coffee...him being so humble n sweet even after being a such a huge superstar was so astonishing... @venberd it basically a remake of American film- I am Sam. Bollywood tried to remake it before but it was a flop! The Tamil remake had many changes that suited the Indian audience, and the acting took it to another level!
For me this Interview is an Encyclopedia. Each Statement, his experiences, the phases of life, the struggles, the sweetness of success, the evolution of a Mature & humble human. - Even though I am a creative person, I always seek a push, sometimes my laziness catches me doing nothing and I simply waste my time doing nonsense. But the statement of his Non- working 10 years before the movie Sethu and the One year after the release of the Movie - I was literally counting each seconds as days - I felt how hard and confused this man will be at that specific time. This point I am thinking to myself- I didn't go through any hardships, I didn't have any mental or physical imbalances in my life but still I seek to push myself for an execution. Why???? From this moment I realized how blessed I am. This interview is more than a motivation for me. I am keeping this as a reference. Thanks TRS for this life changing initiative. Though he smiles less (in movies) but when he does his beautiful smile accentuates and complements his features. Thanks Ranveer. The first movie which I & my brother saw of his was APARICHIT (in which he played a role of "Ambi" who was suffering from multiple personality disorder). I don't even have a count of how many times I have seen it. I made sure anyone who visits my home knows about it & watches it for sure. We till today talk of it. After that I saw, Temper 2, Ravaan (if you once see Ravaan with Vikram you won't appreciate Abhishek Bachchan's role then. I am from Typical U.P. and as you said my first movie from Tamil Cinemas was Aparichit and it was love at first sight with Vikram Sir, then I used to Google his movies and watch them. Till this date, I never knew he had this serious injury to his leg , ohh my God , all mad action he has done till date, can anyone imagine there is so much tragic incident behind his leg , specially he told today still he is still facing problems with his leg. I went all the way to Chennai from Rajahmundry to be in the audio lauch of "I" just to witness Vikram sir, Arnold Schwarzenegger sir, Rajni sir, and AR Rahman sir , Shankar sir and Amy Jackson on one stage. I got to greet Vikram sir in person and he humbly greeted me back even in that heavy crowd. He's one of the greatest artists on the silver screen in indian cinema which i truly admire besides, Chiranjeevi sir, Hrithik sir and Rajni sir. I got teary eyed hearing all the struggles he went through when working in Kasi, Sethu, Anniyan, Deiva Thirumagal, and I. Nobody in this world would go to these extents to wow audiences like Chiyaan Vikram. I grew up watching and loving him since Kasi, Dhool, Arul, King, etc. After watching Deiva Thirumagal I had a feeling I was seeing some of the effects of that role falling into his performance in I, and it’s surreal to hear Vikram confirm that in this interview. As a Tamilian and Tamil cinema fan, this is the best ever interview conducted on a Tamil film star. I hope everyone shares this inspiring, positive video all over the internet because this man deserves the world to hear his story. For me this Interview is an Encyclopedia. Each Statement, his experiences, the phases of life, the struggles, the sweetness of success, the evolution of a Mature & humble human. - Even though I am a creative person, I always seek a push, sometimes my laziness catches me doing nothing and I simply waste my time doing nonsense. But the statement of his Non- working 10 years before the movie Sethu and the One year after the release of the Movie - I was literally counting each seconds as days - I felt how hard and confused this man will be at that specific time. This point I am thinking to myself- I didn't go through any hardships, I didn't have any mental or physical imbalances in my life but still I seek to push myself for an execution. Why???? From this moment I realized how blessed I am. This interview is more than a motivation for me. I am keeping this as a reference. Thanks TRS for this life changing initiative. The first movie which I & my brother saw of his was APARICHIT (in which he played a role of "Ambi" who was suffering from multiple personality disorder). I don't even have a count of how many times I have seen it. I made sure anyone who visits my home knows about it & watches it for sure. We till today talk of it. After that I saw, Temper 2, Ravaan (if you once see Ravaan with Vikram you won't appreciate Abhishek Bachchan's role then. Though Abhishek too has done a terrific job), David, Kadaram Kondan, I and Ponniyin Selvan. Today, while watching this podcast, I am reminded of his spectacular work again. My God, I have written so much..

I am from Typical U.P. and as you said my first movie from Tamil Cinemas was Aparichit and it was love at first sight with Vikram Sir, then I used to Google his movies and watch them.
Till this date, I never knew he had this serious injury to his leg , ohh my God , all mad action he has done till date, can anyone imagine there is so much tragic incident behind his leg , specially he told today still he is still facing problems with his leg.

I went all the way to Chennai from Rajahmundry to be in the audio lauch of "I" just to witness Vikram sir, Arnold Schwarzenegger sir, Rajni sir, and AR Rahman sir , Shankar sir and Amy Jackson on one stage. I got to greet Vikram sir in person and he humbly greeted me back even in that heavy crowd.
He's one of the greatest artists on the silver screen in indian cinema which i truly admire besides, Chiranjeevi sir, Hrithik sir and Rajni sir.

North Indians want to impress pretty ladies who is next to them. so they do everything like being cool, going into saturation, again being cool dude and going for gfs, partying.....bullying new comer SSR and going to abroad trying to impress white people and making movies to attract western audience. Idk why SRK is considered as representative of india cinema in world level.
