Fourth is my favorite. My version is: After the leg kick land, I’ll do a fake cross to generate momentum or pull down my opponent’s arm, then follow up with a high round house. If they try to catch my leg kick, I’ll push down my arm for speed on the high kick.
You're such a phenomenal mentor/coach/fighter! An inspiration for me to get better everyday without a DOUBT! Content that I look forward to watching anytime it's posted dude. 🤙
Thank you for sharing these tips...recently I have been integrating right handed South paw stance with orthodox boxing stance ...it makes a WORLD of difference when chambering and connecting follow up strikes....I've had no teachers so when I say thanks for the tip...I MEAN IT cause it is rare that I actually take and utilize advice from anyone...only after I have tested the techniques do I give credibility to the teacher...and only then will I want to continue to take advice. So what I'm saying is ...your badass enough for me to try to listen to you....LoLoL...but really tho...keep up the hard work brother!!!
I love how you put your failed attempts on your videos as well. It shows that the technique is effective but not perfect, so one shouldn't ever be overconfident, and that timing is important to be able to execute the techniques correctly.
Those combo kicks kicks have that switch kick like movement having the knee centered for a kick... technique has good balance to set up for multiple kicks. Will use these thx Sifu Chan 😎
Great stuff-this vid along with your explosive kicking workout in the heavy bag has improved my double kick speed and smoothness a lot! Keep me coming brother!
Trying #1 tomorrow. And will try a variation of it by doing the same but on the left side (so inside leg kick, step back -> right body kick). Hopefully there isn't a good reason this wasn't one of the options in the video! Also I have a new combo to land the hip sweep vs a southpaw: superman cross into double step low left kick into doubke step hip sweep going around the left side
Your presentation of the double outside low kick gave me instant flashback nightmares. I am quite tall, so noone really bothers to kick me in the head, and I also am quite beefy, therefore not that agile and quick, so my legs become prime targets and I often become prey to those rapid repeated low kicks. I swear, as many shades of purple on my legs have proven, this really works. Well, that's how you cut trees, isn't it... As always, great video!
Your videos are great my dude. So much usefull stuff backed up by actual sparrings etc. Imo the fact that u r traveling to different places and sparring with good fighters gives a lot more credibility to your teachings than for example fight tips channel that has like prob 20 times more subs but the content is kinda dull. Keep it up
Nice tutorial about how to load up the lead leg and pivoting Bro. I will definitely add this to my training this week. Thanks again bro for this videos.
Your outside dbl low kick is sooo snappy. So much harder then it looks. I've been working on my prostier chain and obliques a lot lately and it helped my dbl kick a bunch. Thx 4 the vid jeff!. Yall need to buy Jeff's solo heavy bag workout plan.
Too bad the gyms are closed in my place and I don't have sparring partners. But this is good for my heavy bag training at home that I invested. Thanks for the upload Jeff!
Since you have been through a similar situation, it would be great to make a video about what you would start to do first of you want to come back after you stopped martial arts for 5 years, especially to get back a good physical condition / cardio. Thx 🙏
start off with long intensity slow runs to redevelop your aerobic system! just start with technique classes to get back to the movements and next thing you know your back to where you started!
Hey Jeff could you make a video on how to develop your instincts and not have to think about throwing the right combinations at the right time but just naturally do them.
hey Sarah! haven't heard from you in a while! Unfortunately I don't own a double end bag nor do I have access to it at any of the current gyms I train at, but I will try my best if I ever do use one!
Hey Jeff, long time subscriber and TKD practitioner. Do you have any vids of side kick combos? - only saw Bruce Lee use them in demos but unclear if they’re practical in bouts.
hey Andy! I don't at the moment but I am actually working on his shuffle side kick and if I can get enough footage of me landing it ill make a video on it! :)
Awesome techniques Jeff! I have one question about low kicks in general. When you throw them do you focus your eyes on the opponent's leg or are you trying to always look high?
what do you mean by you lift the knee from inside or outside? feel free to email me at jeff@mmashredded.com and I can help you out there as I don't get notifications on replies here!
Hi Jeff, how do I get better at taking punch/kicks? I always get bruises on shoulders and legs, and too painful to keep sparring. Any advice for get use to taking damage?
hey! I would start off sparring with less power and slowly build up your tolerance/conditioning! you just get use to it as you get hit, sadly to say haha!
@@MMAShredded it's so fast, faster than the other words in the sentence. And the "k" at the end feels very sharp. I just have never heard someone pronounce it exactly like you. Weird detail.
I used to sparring with my bro yesterday.. i wanna throw a punch to to his belly and he up his knee and i punch his knee so hard🙃 and i broke my ring finger😊🙃
The second combo, dont do that, just dont. It gets caught 90% of the time, the damage input is not so high, and you can be swept by a reaping attack easily

I wish I could be as casual as the guy at 5:22. Narrowly dodging a headkick as I flip my hair

my favorite way to kick lol! It gets tiring quick but also frustrates the sparring partner as well! Good stuff bro!
thanks bro!!

Can you also include stretching or flexibility training for high kicks ? Thanks!
