Who the heck disliked this? Your form and delivery is fantastic AND showing it done in real-time sparring! Valuable content and it’s free! Thanks Jeff!
I ALWAYS HIT LIKE BEFORE I WATCH AND VIDEO AND THEN COMMENT AFTER. NEVER DISAPPOINTED. YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY HAVE MORE SUBSCRIBER. I POVE HOW YOU SHOW EVERYTHING IN REAL TIME SPARRING THAT IS SOMETHING I DONT SEE.
Wait wait wait wait, hold it here, hold it. Jeff lowkey giving predictions for Connor v Cowboy fight? Cowboy is a great kicker. Connor changing stances... Well played Jeff. Edit: Love your content Jeff, you should try Singapore, not only its great to visit but there is Evolve MMA. Great thai kickboxers there. I believe Yoshikai (Hope I got the name right) is there, the guy who beat Saenchai. Good stuff to learn from there. Great stuff man.
Man so clean. Great instruction. I love utilizing the game you show. Gives my game different looks. I mean I still suck but feel good while I'm doing it. 😆
Great video man , providing a lot of kicking techniques and how to use it . When I get better I’ll try to practice with your tips, thank for the video.
Now I know how to properly question mark kick! It was the whip part for me. When I do it it’s like two steps with the lifting knee and kicking. Here it’s really one step because it’s a whip and quick. Thanks man!
Hey Jeff, huge fan of your content, you're a very good fighter and instructor. I have a question though, you seem to let your head wip when you do some of the kick variations when you're demonstrating but not when you're sparring? ye I know it's no good doing it when you actually spar but it's just something I was wondering.
Big thumbs up to this vid. You have no Idea how much of help this vid is to me as I am having hard time with my kick specially om sparring. By the way Jeff I was wondering if you can do low kick set ups. Or 10 low kicks same style as this video. I got kicked in my inner leg with a low kick and it hurt like hell compared to getting low kicked on the outer leg.
I will see what I can do. if your interested, I actually teach my full low kick game (24 tactics) in my full MMA curriculum here: www.mmashredded.com/themmastriker
Those round kicks are so dang crisp and quick. Although I am just a BJJ guy I love watching your striking videos and love your grappling ones. They have helped me out a lot.
I'm finding going forward hard in sparing. For a couple of reasons, I'm new to kickboxing and I counter strike more naturally. This is amazing, its helping me so much, I've been using the galloping kick and jumping round house in training. Now I land shots so early and my offence has improved hugely, thanks for this video.
Showing the sparring videos shows that you aint bullshitting! Even when you show the failed attempts thats great content! Would you ever do an ankle pick video?
Hey Jeff, have you gotten many knockdowns/cover ups/staggers (however you want to term it) from kicking to the opponents left side (their left)? I know everyone loves kicking at the liver so much that the left side never really gets much love.
I didn't know all of these were considered roundhouse kicks. I'm a pretty big guy and can't really do certain kicks but I've been needing a workout so I've been doing kicks among other things. I'll do a set of 20 kicks per leg multiple times a day twice a week and these ones came naturally (except the scissor one). I always thought the only round house was the kind that went all the way not a quarter or halfway. I just think it's strange I'd accidentally teach myself any though. I think the biggest reason I did though was because I saw a Muay Thai video where someone mentioned the way you pivot your feet and I just tried adapting it to my own kicks which resulted in these.
Side kick or lead leg push kick for me while straight-ing my arms at the coming fighter. Im not so good with switch kicks i hope i get better on it soon
I know you talk alot about power and how some kicks generate less. But the fact that they are disguised makes such a big difference, it can be less powerful but much more effective in damage. For example while sparring, when i unload kicks that are more telegraphed and powerful, my partner doesn't seem too bothered, but however when i throw a sneaky, faster and less telegraphed kick i noticed that it fazes my sparring partner A LOT more,
