Great video. The 475 is beautiful! I love the fact that the forward window in the pilothouse is wide and does not have the stanchion in the middle of it. It really gives a great view. Great that you was able to take your son with you as well - I was hooked on boating when my dad took us out on his Shetland cruiser when I was about ten-years-old. And that was 30 years ago!
Great 8 minutes to start the weekend and rekindle the memory of this beautiful ship when I stopped by Dana Point unannounced and you graciously took me on a walk around the boat. Hope to see you guys at a boat show soon (Miami?) and see your new 41.
The trick about the anchor is when you're not using it make sure it's well secured to the anchor mount so it can't come off and fall onto somebody's dock and you know what it would be expensive to make sure that your anchor is properly secure
Lucky boy!Interesting video. One drop of acid though: Why let music play constantly? It only blurs the speak and whatever message you are trying to convey!
The hull does not look like the 475 hull on the website. This looks like a 43 hull that has some sort of jury-rigged prop extension rather than an extended keel-line as shown in the General Arrangement drawings. I wonder what the difference is, and why. Anyone know what the performance difference is between the 43 and 475 in terms of speed and range?
How old is little James leishman he looks like he's about 8 to 10 years of age well he would be the one to talk to about a steel Hull Nordhoven yacht. He wanted me so stuck in his ways that he would not entertain a build like that I am afraid Jim leishman the one who started the company along with Dan Street would probably scoff at the idea of a steel hull boat
What a good boy! Nice job raising him! Keep it up! Thanks for sharing!
Excited to see a new generation coming up appreciating the beautiful vessels you make.

23 y/o hoping some day I'll buy a 475 or bigger. Love the layout! Thank you James and Nordhavn
Bailey Jones that’s awesome! If you want info or to chat call me 949.310.3660 James
Nordhavn is a floating Rolls-Royce
A Stern thruster is a must and it can be retrofitted it doesn't have to go through the hall it can be attached to the Stern

She really is a very pretty boat. That 475 is going to be my next boat/first Nordhavn
The engine room is perfect height for someone his eyes
Question. what's that banging/clacking noise as you're pulling back in the slip?
What is the range for this boat.
How did the survey go?
All that hammering weakened and damaged the haul and the boat sank in it's slip two hours later.....
Lovely boat!

How many births on the 457?
This boat is infested by woodpeckers!
