Referring to the aircraft carrier at the beginning, my friend in the Canadian Coast Guard told me a story once where he was aboard a Canadian Coast Guard vessel that had 30 men aboard and they passed an American Air Craft Carrier coming in the opposite direction. True to naval tradition all of the American sailors stood to attention on deck as a show of respect to a foreign naval vessel. Very classy indeed.
Great job on this edit James. So cool to see the Teddy coming in at full dress after deployment. Thats a once in a lifetime experience on its own. I am also looking forward to sweaty palms on the controls of one of those dream machines.
A fantastic insight into what it must feel like as you get behind the controls of your (first?) Nordhavn. The smooth sound of the thrusters on that boat leaves you in little doubt as to their capability as-and-when you need them. I would be interested to know how much boat handling experience the owners have because they did a fantastic job! I have 'sailed' around the world and have been in hurricane-force winds when I served in the Royal Navy/RNLI and the Nordhavn is still one of only two brands of
Nice. Properly used, bow and stern thrusters allow you to dock a Nordhavn as if you were Captain Ron. It's impressive to get a sense of the actual humongous size of a N63 as HA docked (3:40) alongside N63 Ursa in Mexico (I assume Ensenada, as unfortunately, there were no titles to inform us of just what and where she docked). Many thanks for the pleasant video. (BTW, Ensenada is not not the sh*hole that is Tijuana and gringos are warmly welcomed and appreciated. In other words, it's civilized). Also, Mexico is not closed to US residents during this COVID epidemic time, as opposed to the Bahamas, etc. In other news, it's my understanding that you can take possession of a yacht in the US and drive her down to Mexico (either coast) and park her there for 30 days, and thus avoid US state's sales tax. (Check with your broker.) Your tax savings is (approximately) $8-10 K.
Lol. It's funny, back when I was a kid growing up in the 80s, everyone kept thrashing all products made in Taiwan, then their quality got better, so in the 90s it was anything made in Korea, now it's China. I wonder who's next? Russia maybe?😁

I did a 4 year stint on the TR, loved sliding down the ladders in #1MMR
If I ever get to to the point that I can afford one it would most definitely be the Nordhavn 60 . Love that boat 👍
The best post apocalyptic vessel going. Fuel being your only limitation.
I love these videos! They keep me going! Can hardly wait until it’s my turn to post one!
Just perfect,
It must be beautiful to go out with your new boat from Dana Point, I think I will need a cardiologist too much emotion.
My favorite boat. Nice docking skills Captain :)

Nothing special but fun to watch. Enjoyed the yachts in harbor. Thanks for sharing.
A Nordhavn and Mexico! Perfect combination for me!
Nice.

The first song was written and recorded by the owners of the vessel.

@Mark thank you sir! It is an really awesome song! Wish you all the best and safe cruising with your new boat!
No Music Please!
Turned on. Daft music. Left comment Turned off. Another video ruined by daft music.
@Mark Wensley Yep, and with music like that I'll definitely hear you coming 🙂
Good boat, to bad it’s made in China
Your point? If it wasn’t made in China nobody could afford it. Put your big boy pants on.
@1 Atom 12 sorry about your situation. But there are some of us that can afford it (since it’s built in China). 😊

The 41 is built in Turkey so I guess that they get built in different places.
