    Though I will most likely never get to set foot on a NORDHAVN, to me they are my dreamboat! A true ship in every sense! I ❤️ NORDHAVN!

      N6058 "Blossom" and N6061 "Julia" had the extended hardtop over the cockpit before N6062 "Tanglewood" did. FYI.

    Thank you to Nordhavn Yachts for continuing content! These are beautiful little ships. Not sure what some of the more negative comments are about but the 2 years my wife and I have been looking at CE A trawlers, we like to set feet on Nordhavn's the most.

      Welcome to RUclips. To understand the platform, and the rating system, remember that people are rating the actual video, not necessarily the *subject* of the video. I too am a big fan of Nordhavn explorer/expedition yachts, and watch a lot of walkthroughs. This one chose to have no narration, really annoying music that interfered with my enjoyment of the video, and frankly was more of a brochure than a video designed for viewer enjoyment. Of all the videos I have seen offering a tour of a Nordhavn 60, of which there are several, this was by far the worst, the least informative, and the one I'd most recommend people to skip and watch a different one, to get a better appreciation of the boats and what they offer.
      As a viewer experience, this is an awful video, and will probably be rated as such by people who know the medium, and have seen any of the countless better produced, more useful, and frankly all around superior quality videos of the same subject matter.

      I understand some of your comment. But I would like more info on each ship. Stuff like how many bunks, height of each ship, yr built. You know some facts about each 1. Cause none are built the same. All have differences that short vids don't always cover. IMHO the best way is when they have a topside map of each and show a dot where you are at all times and list each room to say where you are on boat. For example master stateroom, master ensuite, capt quarters. And get rid of horrible music. I have to mute it when that's there. Just my opinion. I know no one asked.

    Is there any difference from the 55 other than the cockpit size ?

    • @DanielC__
      @DanielC__ 3 года назад +1

      55’s are iffy because they are on the cusp of extreme top heavy vs length/ballast. Keep em close to shore where you can duck into cover and your fine but ocean passage can be very uncomfortable with heavy seas.

      AS long as you are careful you can get quality products from China. Much IS junk however.

      What people? Today China is the biggest technological and industrial power on the planet. Take away those 1960s fantasies. Unless, of course, you're a Cuban from 8th Street.

    • @DanielC__

      I think a bunch of Nordhavens are built in Taiwan. Far better quality. They have a skilled and proud workforce. China, not so much so complaints against quality are warranted. Pretty much slave labor/sweat shop type conditions.

    This one is not so appealing, the outside decks are so sterile, inside shows so much more. The ship is in real need of teak or other hardwood applications on the weather decks.

    • @ictpilot
      @ictpilot 5 лет назад +6

      And with teak comes more maintenance.

    • @MrUnicornone
      @MrUnicornone 5 лет назад +1

      Ictpilot Ictpilot if you can afford that boat and can’t endure the maintenance of a teak deck , perhaps you should get an all through plastic fantastic..

    • @ictpilot
      @ictpilot 5 лет назад +4

      @@MrUnicornone I'd rather cut down on maintenance and enjoy my boat. There's going to be enough maintenance to do just like any boat, but Nordhavns seem to keep it to a minimum.

    • @MrUnicornone
      @MrUnicornone 5 лет назад +1

      Ictpilot Ictpilot I’m prepared to take some tlc to get beaty... We sailed Vindö yachts in my family when i grew up. A boat short of mahogany, teak and oregon pine are most probably doomed in my book.

    Beautiful boats, but since the hulls are laid down in China they’re not “Jones” compliant.

      If you know any thing about the NORDHAVN BOATS YOU WILL KNOW THAT THEY ARE some if the best on the water. There are some that have gone down to Antarctica and a few that have gone about as far north as one can go. Don't sell the NORDHAVN short, they are solidly built and will handle weather that could sink vessels of lesser build, these vessels ride lower in the water and are heavier built so they are of stronger construction. THESE ARE OCEAN CROSSING VESSELS

    They're built in Taiwan, which is culturally more similar to the west than to China. I'd worry more about jobs that are currently in the US and being shipped overseas due to actions of the current administration (caused by tariffs making raw materials unavailable for manufacturing), something we could prevent without burning bridges with allies or raising consumer costs. Seriously...any of you in the market for a yacht or just trolling for a chance to mention 45 as much as possible?

      That is the most simplistic and incorrect statement that could be made about the current administration. Turn off CNN

      DIPSHIT (Kirsten) the move and new plant in China were planned while Obamao was in office. There were built in KKKalifornia but the insane libtard laws there made it too expensive. Which is why Boeing left KKKalifornia years ago.
