  • No expense has been spared in the outfitting and care of “Long Time Dead”. Only the finest of equipment has been chosen since the beginning of her construction. "Long Time Dead" is an excellent example of a Nordhavn 55, and she is hull number 40 which places her well into the Nordhavn 55 production. "Long Time Dead" has spent the last 18 months full time cruising the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, British Columbia, Mexico, Costa Rica, through the Panama Canal, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Turks & Caicos, Bahamas, and the USA east coast, from Maine to Florida. She was recently shipped back to Southern California where her owners reside. The owners of "Long Time Dead" had a fantastic adventure, and have now returned to their jobs and are inspired to purchase a larger Nordhavn in the future.

I’ve seen almost all the 55 foot nordhavns and this is the best one yet the boat is laid out perfectly having a captains room gives you a great guest room so you can have four guests everything about this 55 is perfect

This thing looks like it's 70 feet inside and out. I honestly don't think that any yacht can beat a Nordhavn in comfort, looks, and capability.

Too bad the 55' was discontinued.
Perfect length for a couple for long range cruising.
The living quarters was laid out a bit wonky though.
Loved the pilot house day head, chest freezer, longer cockpit, and dual engine option.

Did the 55 have a dual engine option ? Never saw one on RUclips with a twin engine ..

Not so much a walk through as it is a jump through. Why do you have to jump from one area to another so we lose are point of reference.

What is up with these stupid names... are they that desparate for attention that they would mar such a grand yatch with that stupid a name.... I guess so... no accounting for taste...

I totally agree. They got the right but a classy boat deserves a little thought. Moored in cali. Im sure the name offends folks who know someone who has died.

Just think of the come backs using that name on the VHF. Even worse phonetic spelling it.
