I was soooo close, I could literally taste it but I wasn't able to see, leading up to today I was checking weather and it said it would be sunny, but of course the night before it changes to being partially cloudy, in reality, it was very cloudy throughout the entire region, Dunkirk was my last hope but once it became 2:00 it was confirmed to be completely cloudy, so I just stopped off at the road and waited for totality, I was able to experience the darkness which was pretty surreal and cool but I'm very disappointed that I was not able to see the Eclipse with my eyes.
Same boat man, I drove from Philadelphia, camped in Cherry springs, and then drove to Rochester just to get a chance to see it but it was completely covered by clouds. Dunkirk, and Erie were my backup cities but both were showing cloudy. The irony is if I stayed in Philly or Cherry springs I would've had a better view. Still a cool road trip in my jeep though and was able to see a ton of stars in Cherry Springs
@@MrKilroy3 Darn, I was kinda in the same boat, my friend was able to see a partial eclipse, but I at least experienced the totality darkness, but still need to see it one day.
Had my operation eclipse back in 2017 from tampa to ... Huh, can't remember if it was northern georgia or south carolina; 36hrs for a 2 min experience. Glad I got to see it but damn the traffic going back was insane.
I am glad I was out there to experience it with you guys. Forever one of the best times of my life
Yep,we drove 100 miles south so we could see the "total"eclipse and it was awesome. No regrets.😁👍👍
