I was half expecting a twist ending at the very last minute where you reveal you made the whole thing up and just meticulously animated the gameplay footage
that was the original plan, I was going to actually create and code the game myself, publish it, and wait to see who sues me for copyright - I could find the game that way
@@WAEMIDIV What the... What an unusual and interesting method that most likely would've worked, well I guess thats a little more complicated then the mythical "duck duck go"
Great video. Came in with no knowledge of Sproink (like 99% of the world) and came out happy that a random youtuber found their childhood game. Wholesome stuff 💙
I dont have an XJ, nor have I ever played sproink, and I typically only watch channels with already massive followings... But this came up on my page and had me hooked. Loved this video and also your XJ phillips head/hex research. Keep it up man. +1 sub.
Wow... YT is actually recommending this huh? That's new for me lol I personally didn't think this story was that interesting but I guess the internet does
this is the most interesting videos i have seen in a while. not a drama or gameplay or anything. just a person with a topic i am interested. i would love if the algorithm can recommend more video like this.
If I knew people would be even the slightest bit interested in this completely random and obscure topic I would've spent way more time editing it, I honestly thought this one would get like 10 views. But thank you for your support
@@WAEMIDIV there are many people with childhood games they have forgot. you just seems to cannot forget it. same when i try to find a music. thank god for google search.
i don't understand how's this game didn't blow up, its so well-coded, its a bit repetitive but for the time it released it's fire project it has good physics, good plot, cool looking design, its a 3-in a row game that works not lilee other 3-in a row even compared to nowadays games where you stick balls to each other they just stick, not bouncing around, not ricocheting, not randomly falling, that's why you should keep some space in your cannon so you dont lose your whole bridge, if you gonna be slow your bridge gonna become so high you barely could react to falling crystals, thats fire, thats an absolute most exquisite humanity ever done piece of art gotta download it and try out myself, thanks mate for vid, was searching for its name for like 7 years
so glad this got recommended to me, i love stuff like this! really fun video :) a couple thoughts: 1) there is an unlicensed PC port of Marble Blast Ultra that can be found online! i remember finding it several years ago and having a lot of fun with it. 2) i don’t THINK i’ve played this and its probably just my brain making false memories (the gameplay footage looks totally unfamiliar to me), but while you were reading the description in your reddit post, i felt so sure I’d played this at some point lol.
I made a reddit post on this game too without the knowledge of the post mentioned in this video. I played this game so much as a kid after getting home from school. I'd be stuck at my mom's work pretty much everyday so I'd play all these interesting games on her work computer. I randomly thought of this game about 2 years ago, but didn't know the name. I really wanted to watch gameplay on it when I learned the name, but there weren't any really. Now there is!
I really wanted to watch a Waemid video so I went to the channel and clicked on the video tab, and holy shit there's something about a video game, Waemid does obscure video game videos now? WTH, lol, and I'm somewhat tempted to watch the whole playlist, but I know I would probably get bored and see about 10 other videos that can actually be an informative, cool video though, this is why I love physical media, great job on preserving video game history!
I had a similar situation with an Android game called shellrazor. Such a good game, you darn tortoise you haunted my dreams! Every now and then I would try and track it down again and kept going in the same circles seeing the same games over and over but not what I was looking for. Until I finally saw it in a thumbnail for an old RUclips video doing a roundup of that year's best Android games or something.
Grams and i enjoyed your video, buddy. no one else will have this issue! "Good narrating voice! you should go into radio, or something like that!" Gram says 😊
I have a game that I kept thinking just never existed. I SWEAR EVERYONE it DOES and when I find it I'm gonna play it so goddamn hard. It was a minecraft like game on some weird website with other shotty games. It was minecraft, except there was just hills with trees, and random sand pits. There was only 1 song playing in the background Over and Over. The Minecraft theme. It was extremely subliminal and lonely. I swear it sounds like a fever dream but istg it existed. I can't find it.
There was a ton of minecraft clones, because of how massively successful it was, there may be no telling what it was simply because of how many minecraft clones existed in its early hay day. I remember a rather dark one on Xbox 360 called CastleminerZ
I am curious on how the developers feel. Do they even know that their game had an impact on someone? This honestly looks decent & there is clear effort put into the storyline & gameplay.
You got so much about Marble Blast Ultra wrong! The game is nothing like golf and is actually a physics momentum platformer! Also, I don't think it had a physical release.

why did I just watch 5 minutes of unedited Sproink gameplay
because it's mildly fun
and now you know it exists!
Did it take anyone else like 5 tries to read the title correctly?
No I think your dyslexic lol

There's literally a CD copy of Sproink in the room I'm in, lmao
no way

This game has to be one of the wildest takes and spins on a Match 3 game I have ever seen. Looks genuinely fun too.

Any video inspired by ahoy is an instant W
(This video has almost the same exact intro as ahoy's video on polybius)
I've seen that video probably 10 times, it's an excellent watch. I'm very glad you got the reference!
Reminds me a bit of a very old flash game my mom and I use to play on her laptop in like 2006-2007 called "Gold Strike"
I HAVE LOOKED FOR THAT MARBLE GAME FOREVER!
Marble Blast Ultra!
You can still play Marble Blast Ultra on PC.
This is sick
why is it always the poorly edited and boring videos that take off, while the painstaking month long projects get 7 views
That's so cool that you managed to find it

Land Maker
The game kinda looks interesting
Its like 15$ on ebay.
Oh yeah I played that back in the day wtf
bruh you're the first person who recognized it
