I came across him a few times around town and he was such a lovely man. He had such a gental way and smiled with his eyes. He had time for everyone.

I do think Christian Morality is important in the west in that it's what help build the greatest civilisation on earth or at least one of the biggest building blocks. Yes, sure, many institutions have been created by religious organizations. But one must remember, that back then, there wasn't much more THAN religious organizations. EVERYTHING was religious and if you where not, then you wouldn't get very far in life.
So of course! Religion had it's hands on everything.
But when it is today such a huge difference, why are most soup kitchens still done by religious groups?
For one religious organizations use those kitchens to get more believers. They do the same with addicts, and 3rd world countries.
Additionally, there are many secular organizations that help all over the world that don't indoctrinate or expect anything back.

I am not sure what motives were behind his tragic homicide! Who would hate this man? Perhaps he decided to convert religion? I was trying to point out the flaws in his speech at the Oxford Union, not all religions are the same, not all of them are beneficial to humanity, some religions have no place in the United Kingdom or even the western world.
And again, I don't want to sound disrespectful towards him but there's plenty of pro refugees photo-ops he took part in where he was pictured holding placards saying refugees are welcome.

Oh dear, what a loss to Britain! He was really good at it, Catholic Faith. So much bad stuff is said about Catholics because of some who do not actually practice the Faith in it’s true sense as in the Bible and also as explained by our then late MP David Amess. It was going to be beneficial if this clip came before his death at least some from a further afield would have know about him and many prayers would have probably sustained him from this evil attack. Not all religions are the same. Actually, there is one particular religion behind the overwhelming majority of the wave of attacks in Europe in the past 10 years, and it isn't Christianity.
