Thanks for the video man. I actually purchased this exact same Mac, new but Silver, the other day for $1531 on Amazon, now selling for $1693. But a few weeks ago I bought the same Mac as yours, same specs,, for $1030 online with a 14 battery cycle count and 100% battery health. So I'm going to keep that one as it's like new even though the warranty expired 6 months ago. I'm going to return the Amazon one. It runs great. Really fast and the bright dynamic screen/ And with the 104W battery charger and MagSafe cable.
ppl really don't understand the advantage of the apple environment....its a professional environment....only advantage windows have on osx is scalability and gaming....but if your a professional or desire to be professional the osx environment is better...
Hey great video man. I just picked up the 14" and it's great. For anyone looking, all 14" and 16" models are $400 off at BestBuy right now. I was looking at the M2 Air, but the 16GB / 512GB Air was $100 more expensive then the 14" Pro with 16GB / 512GB which is crazy.
Dude m1 air (not pro) works just fine . Even Mac mini m1 8gb is amazing. Pretty much for ableton and logic, m1 and above is amazing in terms being able to run music software .
I have the 14inch MacBook Pro stock except I upgraded the ram to 32 gb. That machine can do everything and anything. I use ableton and have over 100 plugins . Heavy cpu usage ones too.
4:23 made my day :D thanks so much! but i bought mac mini (2020) m1 16gb 1tb in 2023, don't need portable machine but connectivity and low price (1.099,-)
Great video for me ready to purchase a new laptop. I just bought the last one in 🇦🇺 I think. Same specs as yours. It's coming from another state so I wait patiently 😌. Thanks for the video.
Great video, thanks for doing this. Which keyboard controller do you use? I am spending my life trying to find an answer to which one will be compatible with the M1 processor as well as with Monterey as well as with Logic. I bought the Macbook Pro 14" M1 recently and love it but don't want to buy a controller that won't work.
Been watching your content for a min bro, dope channel. But i got this same MacBook and i just ordered the twin x duo. I started seeing some videos about the M1 chip and Apollo having issues. Have they been resolved or what can i expect?
I went on an purchase the late 2015 Macbook pro and put more memory and stroge on it and it work just fine. The newer Macs 😢you can't do anything extra
Im getting a MacBook Pro m1 2020 off Amazon and how does the m1 differ from an intel i7? Also it was about $1,000 and it’s refurbished in excellent condition, does that sound like a good selection? It’s 16 gb ram, and 512 gb ssd and is it a good choice for the long term? I’m using it strictly to make beats on fl studio. Nice vid bro
So if I wanna use it for gaming as well as music would this be good I don’t produce I just sing and rap I’ll just be buying beats and hooking up my interface and headphones but I wanna game with it to
I have this one stock, except I upgraded the ram to 32 gb. The only thing I regret is that it’s a laptop and I need a thunderbolt hub. This is a laptop so if you have a beautiful home studio set up with synths and drum machines everywhere, (which I do) then you will realize that the more usb midi cable you use, your MacBook Pro won’t be able to run all those machines into your DAW. So get yourself a laptop and also the Mac Studio. I’m going to get the Mac Studio and probably give my MacBook Pro to my son which will be a teenage next year and he will start doing homework and might be old enough to start using a mac (who knows might be into making movies or music on it fingers crossed 🤞) my buddy has the Mac Studio and that thing can power 8 of his devices midi controllers, synths , and drums machines . Right now I’m using a hub and I hate it. (I know right , only two cables are required to be plugged in and plugged off . But those two usb hubs are also connected to a power source because the MacBook Pro can power my audio interface (focusrite) and my other devices (7 total) . But that’s my only complain. Soon I will have the max studio max which is more than enough to make music. Cheers
@@30killabeatz I’m using two hubs. They are both the same one. They are anker 4 in 1 usb hub. They need power in order to power up my focus rite and then the other 7 devices which are my midi keys/synths (Korg minilogue xd) (td-3) and drum machine (tr8-s)
@@bombjelly5795 that doesn't make any sense, what kind of cable is that? are you sure you use analog synths and not just midi controllers? like what kind of synths do you have?
It’s so quiet you won’t even notice it,most of the time it’s not even spinning. But when it does. It’s the quietest fan you’ve ever heard in the laptop for sure, but your microphone won’t even pick it up at all trust me. Thanks for watching.
I'm using my LG widescreen monitor as a USB hub. If I plug my screen in with USB c into my macbook, I get 2 USB ports, and I have another cheap USB hub in one of the ports, which has 4 USBs in it.
Hey man, so I just got the that same ultra wide monitor. Do you find it annoying to switch back and forth between that and liquid display or it’s it not too bad?
I have it on extended display when I’m using my laptop monitor. But most of the time I have the laptop closed and I’m just using the monitor. Haven’t had any issues with switch
@@30killabeatz okay one more question brodie if you dont mind. i can either get a 14 inch with 1tb and 16 core or the 14inch 32gb with 512gb and 14 core. im going to be doing some film scoring, which one would be better?

You may be happy with this macbook, but have carry to make often buckups of your data. In fact if you get some of this parts malfunktion, device will not start at all, so you data may be not accessible or lost. Than the Guarantee, it have just 1 Year or 3 years if you use Apple care. For one of expensive PC one year warranty is something must you think about. Even washing machines or microwawes have 8 years from manufacturer.
