- Do you want to know what it's like to live with the brand new 2023 Yamaha R7 60th Anniversary? I'll tell you all about it, after riding it for 2 weeks straight here's what I really think about this motorcycle.
Can it compete with the more expensive Aprilia RS660? Or is it more in line with the Kawasaki Ninja 650 and Honda CBR650R?
This R7 has been fitted with some optional extras such as the full system Akrapovic exhaust, quickshifter, tail tidy, tinted screen, brake lever and tank pads.

Nice video, and someone who not running down the R7 because crying about the dying 600's platforms. I have an R7 Anniversary in NC, USA to explore with and I love love love it, especially that mid range grunt from the CP2... Little torque beast makes it great for the street.
Thank you!! Enjoy your R7 🤙
Imo in the US at least 600’s are still being made and sold, r6 should still be bc we dont f/w euro emissions anyways but it is what it is. Still have gixers and zx6’s
Yeah the Aprilia is nice but the yamaha can be passed down generationally
What a fabulous colour scheme. Another great video!
Thanks bro👍
I’m fairly sure that’s a 2022. I have one in my garage. GP 60th anniversary came out with this colorway in ‘22 - sweet ride but uncomfortable for longer than about 1.5 hours - to be expected though considering what it is
The colours look nice
Best review I've seen! Thank you. My wife just put a deposit on one :)
Thank you sir! You're too kind 😊
I am so torn.... I lost my GSX-R750 (no fault of my own) and looking for a worthy replacement has brought me to.... Yamaha R7, Ducati Panigale V2, 2017 Honda Fireblade SP or lastly Suzuki GSX-R1000R
The Yamaha ticks 9 out of 10 boxes, with the only reservation being SOUND. Of course, I would have the full Akrapovic system. I test rode one in the summer and really enjoyed it but that had the standard exhaust on.
I want to keep my next bike for a good 3 to 5 years, so don't want to be out growing that CP2 engine within a year or 2..... Tough choice but the R7 keeps coming back to the top of my list
I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one battling this 😂😂 honestly bro if it keeps coming back to you, it’s a sign and if you got bored if it Yamahas keep their value I’d say go for it. I’m about to get mine next week
What did you end up doing? Genuinely curious because even as someone who has a good bit of experience on faster machines, these R7's have really piqued my interest and I'm now considering one myself.
Move up not down and just get a used R1
Great video! also how you train that wasp to adjust your suspension at 2:48 ? LOL
Haha skills right 🤙
Mini pit crew
Why I can't find this color when I get in yamaha official store?
its like sold as another bike, so search in google for Yamaha R7 60th Anniversary and you will find it
I thought the same! just blue and black :/
It was only for 2022. 60th anniversary.
Gor the price just get a used R1 as theyre gonna stop making them and smoke everyone on the streets and have a blast
Gorgeous bike, but that is all. Uncomfortable and slow. If I am going to be uncomfortable, I at least want to be fast.
Spoken like a way past it oldhead with skill, strength, technique and ego issues.
It can do 200 easy. Good enough to overtake everything on road and some big bikes on curvy bendy tracks.
Nimble enough to be enjoyable around town and b roads.
Power laidback enough to get usable torque all across the revband.
Supersports are supposed to have an agressive engaging posture.
Not as uncomfortable as the R6, that’s way worse than the R7
It's about rider
