Hi One question what is a difference between Z1000sx and Ninja 1000sx?

I'm on my 2nd 650 V-Strom, the first being the first generation K7 model which was the first model to have 2 spark plugs per cylinder and after 7 years I sold it due to needing a hip replacement. 3.5 years later, I was yearning for another bike so I bought a 2021 XT version of the 650 Strom and it's a beautiful thing......yeah I've thought about getting a more powerful bike but everytime I ride the 650, those thoughts go out the window.....I don't need bigger at all.

Do you maybe know whether the later models (Cafe and Street are no longer in production) took over the updated suspension, or did Kawasaki keep the Classic with the suspension unchanged?

So the critical gauze at the rear of the oil pressure switch doesn't get checked...maybe, with all the oil to camshaft issues, I'd be wanting that done?

I don't own the meteor, but I own the scram, I'm 6'4" and felt it was just a bit too small for me. I really looked hard at it too. In fact I still am watching videos today😂

And I thought you were limited to 45mph whilst running in? Could you have damaged the bike? Just asking as the running-in speeds are a bit ridiculous. Ride safe.

What type of grease did you apply to the ball joint?

Bought a 2020 low mileage its a gem, gears fab very quick Mc and comfortable 200 miles no sore nums, love it. Its jerky because its searching fuel, as it has to meet cat restrictions on emission. So I fitted a BOOSTER PLUG, 15 mins very easy fit, boy its super. see on yt for booster plug, really changed the driveing and jerky is almost gone. fab bike love it....

I purchased a 2023 KTM 790 Duke in the United States. I purchased a Black Widow decate and and dual can pipe. I originally purchased the single can so I have both. MY problem is I let a east coast shop remap my ecu and it has been a disaster. I informed them of my exhaust and airbox mods which consisted of a rottweiler power plate and a k&n filter. The first time I installed ecu it wouldn,t start without 1/4 throttle and would only run at 1500 rpm to stay running. The second try it started and seemed ok but it stalls out at 3000 rpm when applying full throttle ecpecially in 2 and 3rd gear. Do you think you can help me or do you have a suggestion to solve my problem. It seems like you have better results with decate and stock muffler.If so please supply costs and shipping information. I cannot trust them to try again. thank you hope to hear back.

Fantastic review from someone who has actually ridden the bike with attention to detail. Clutch is heavy. The top speed should be 80mph making it more comfortable to cruise at 70. That’s the only faults I can find. It has so much character it makes you want to ride it everyday. It’s reliable and fun. That’s why it’s well worth buying.

This bike does not have a slipper clutch. How does one handle a powerful bike like this without slipper clutch ?

Why buy the new Eliminator when this one gets discounted to the point of having a lazy boy on wheels that can go down any highway here in the USA...almost forever? The Ninja 650, Vulcan S, Z500 and KLX300 twins are what made Kawasaki have the best "entry" to moderate lineup here in the USA. The Eliminator is a FAILED marketing exercise. If you want more, you can graduate to more expensive JAPANESE RELIABLE Bikes, not any of that European or other Asian bikes. They just don't measure up on the long haul.
