Always make sure you have the tools to log these engines before carrying out any tuning, if you cant log.. then you cant tune! so always start there first!

Great Vid!!! I’m trying to learn everything I can. My son is 16 and we just bought a 2001 Passat 1.8t. I’ve figured out boot mode as I’d be screwed if I brick the Ecu. But I appreciate all the info you provide!!! Thank you!!
I'm sure you've figured out afterwards, but this video does absolutely nothing for learning to tune an ME ecu.

Hey Phil, I would be interested in learning my audi tt mk2, and possibly tune sport mode a bit. Would you mind recomending a afforable cable ? is winols best software for me? I dont intend to do tune on other cars, just learn a bit more about mine and have some fun. Thanks!

@@SayWhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat Well it does actually.. you get easier access to cracked software through old OS such as windows XP or 7. Some cracked versions of ECM titanium, for example, won't run on windows 10 or 11. so not really a stupid comment, maybe a stupid reply though.
