  • I am not a car mechanic but I was going to do a complete fluid change on my Volvo XC90 SPA and here is the fourth part of it.
If I can do it, I am sure anyone can do it too!

What angle gets the hose to fit into the bottom area and how much were you able to get out/put back in? I ended up only using maybe 90% of 1qt between both the rear diff and transfer case. Roughly .45qt in each.

@@vica153 I tried to bend and push the hose to the bottom of the diff/transfer case. One bottom is enough to do both front and rear change, but I did the front transfer case twice, as the oil drained from the front looks more degraded.

@@eyhpoon Yeah, since the TCase is easy enough to get at and uses a small amount of fluid, I think I'll probably do a drain&fill on it whenever I do an engine oil change.

@@vica153 I honestly don't think you need to. May be every 40000kms.

Hey. It's not trasfer case. It's front differential.

@@habibiatamae5989 yes is not a transfer case in the traditional sense, but the bevel gear serves the same purpose and everyone knows what is meant by TCase.
