I don’t do this method but i dry my hair using old tshirt. I just put my hair into the hem opening and then twist it up like you would a normal towel. Much easier than trying to tie the sleeves together
Do we do this method after we dip our head in the bowl? I just found your channel a couple days ago, and I’m loving all your videos and learning so much. Thank you! ❤
Yes!! So do the bowl method and apply all the products, microplop (which is just scrunching with a t shirt or towel to squeeze out as much water as you can), and then do this :)
Hi, I just started watching your videos! I recently noticed that I have a wavy pattern and I tried following your method. I just have a little issue with keeping the waves looking neat..every time I do it it looks like I just woke up 😅 any suggestions?
@@jayv8131 try using a bit more of your mousse or gel to help lock in your pattern! Ideally your hair will form some sort of a crunchy cast as it dries. Once it is fully dry, then just scrunch that out! It should help with the mess :)
It’s beautiful before you even dry it. I always open the dryer box when I get grab the diffuser and throw it away. I never think I’m never gonna use it. Now all this curly girl method shows having to use the diffuser. Do you have any suggestions for people like me don’t have a diffuser. I would appreciate any information you might have thanks for your time.
You can get universal diffuser attachments like the conair, or silicone collapsible ones (like the Ion Pink travel diffuser) or large cup ones like the xtava black orchid. This dry bar blow dryer also sells a separate diffuser she's using here, that you can attach to most blow dryers! Pretty inexpensive and easy to use!!!
i’m trying to regain my wavy/curly hair i lost once i stopped taking care of it, so should i plop my hair with conditioner in or is it better just wet? or should i buy another product to put in?
Thank you so much, Ive been watching your videos for a few days, & you are such a kind, generous person.🌹🥰🌺 I have wavy hair (combo of 2a,b,c) but only knew how to style it like curly hair, leaving it too flat, thick & heavy with product. Therefore I’ve been living in buns. I’m excited to try this method once I get layers cut in.
Hey! So not really, just air dry after applying all the products :) I normally use my sunglasses like a headband to push the front back as it dries though for extra front volume! 💛
@@SophieMarieGraf thank you! I tried today actually but my waves didn’t really form well it looked kinda frizzy and after air drying them they looked puffy and frizzy. Any tips to keep them curled? cuz i’m damn sure i’ve got waves haha
I recently discovered my baby fine stick straight hair has somehow turned into a thick, wavy mass of hair on my head that is suddenly down to my back! 😱 I will have to try your techniques, I have no interest in spending a lot of time and money on my hair, especially anything that will create damage!
Time and practice!! As we keep styling our hair natural, the easier it gets :) and once you find a routine you like it becomes so simple! With that said, frizz is totally normal and expected-I am currently on vacation so I’m embracing my unstyled, puffy hair haha 💛
Oh thanks for this, I knew there was a way to use a Tshirt to do this but didn't know how! I'm one of those people that can't stand the way microfiber towels feel but now I have no excuse to not try this method.
SO sorry for being MIA these past few weeks, I will try and be better about responding to comments here 😅🫶💛
Microfiber shirts are best for your hair❤
What name brand products do you use. I want what you use, because your hair is beautiful ❤
You have the most gorgeous hair!
Thank you!! 💛

What happened to your curls when you don’t use the bowl method? Just all of the products and defusing.
What products do you use before putting it in the tshirt and do you brush it at all to untangle before scrunching the products in?

Can we talk about how gorgeous she is and that room iam in love 😍
Am I the only one seeing a chunk of conditioner/shampoo in her hair???
Haha yes it is mousse!!! 😂
😂
No we all see it and assume it just didn’t get rubbed in
Where did you get your robe? 😍
It’s thrifted!! I will check the tag when I am home from traveling though :)
@Sophie Marie thank you so much 💙 safe travels!!
The things we do 😭😭😭
Do you recommend any towel types for this?
is there a way to plop for shorter hair? I'm about at shoulder length so plopping has always been a bit of a struggle
heyyy how do you air dry them? like, is there a special method?

Yes not your mothers curl talk mousse!! It’s my all time favorite 💛
Ur not supose to dry detangle your hair but the next day my hair gets so tangled what do I do?
How are you sleeping with it? I wrap with a silk scarf at night to keep it from getting tangled!! 💛
So what does plopping do?
It's like holding a long scrunch
can i sleep on this? im kinda new
Cutie 👸🏼
i wanna grow my hair bc i know my waves will be like this bc my hair is short n comes out like hers but weird

Haha yes!!! I honestly prefer this over towels sometimes since I can wrap it more securely :)
Its aggravating me so much that that little glob of shampoo or whatever it is in her hair😂😂
More of the cat.
You have curls not waves.
Blob of mouse 😂
