That is so true.
On the other hand, it did force FASA to create original Battlemechs and I think they're cooler and more original than the "Battleoids" from Macross/Robotech.
@@ShadowWingTronix Honestly true, like the Atlas and Timber Wolf are FAR more iconic for that brand than say the BattleMaster or the Warhammer (still love em all tho lol)

We have to appreciate just how *shiny* SDCC Devastator was.
Great vid TJ, just wanted to add a few more of SDCC GI Joe crossover vehicles that got overlooked. There was also a Hound Vamp that came with Skystriker Jetfire, & also another set with a Soundwave HISS and a Powerglide Rattler. I really wish all these sets weren’t so limited; I love them.
I used to own that Blaster with his cassettes, had to sell him because of money issues, looks like the new Walmart reissue will have to do for me when I buy it. Thanks for that look back, that Ghostbusters Optimus Prime looks super awesome btw!
I'm happy to look at this list and see that I was able to get my hands on some of those in the later years, as a spaniard who doesn't travel much and suffers from poor distribution in our main retailers. Primitive Prime, which I was able to find just retail shopping, and toy colors Reflector, which was an exclusive the same year they were selling Ghostbusters Prime at a national convention, are still prized pieces in my humble collection.

Yeah she rocks the Fort Max colors, and it’s a fun idea to have repaints of her in the colors of certain Titan characters given her cityspeaker status. I’d love to see toys of her in Metroplex, Metrotitan, Trypticon, Scorponok, and Black Zarak colors. Maybe Brave and Grand Maximus as well

That Metroplex is the only Cityformer my nephew doesn't have. Trypticon, Scorponok, Fort Max, Ark, Nemesis, and Cybertron Metroplex.
Get him a Guardian Robot if he doesn’t have an Omega Supreme, it’s the same toy in blue and white and he’s gorgeous

IIRC, Hasbro and Harmony Gold came to an agreement that settled the entire Jetfire debate with prejudice.
I have the GI Joe crossover toys from 2013/14 but only the Transformers. Couldn't afford or didn't want to spend a grand on a set for some tiny mini boom box Soundwave and Blaster. Only one I missed was the Soundwave Hiss tank and Ravage and Baroness with leash
sdcc fortress maximus also had other sounds in the soundbox.
The Skywarp was a giveaway too.
Didnt the sdcc Fort Max come in a big box with straps so you could carry it like a backpack and still keep hanging around the con?
i think suposedly its leaked that we may get a set this upcomming comicon thats a void rivals 3 pack with jetfire and the 2 protags of that book.
Wasn't the Combiner Hunters a 2015 SDCC Exclusive and there were two more GI Joe crossovers i thought...
i actually got my throne of the primes as a free replacement from hasbro pulse for like a deluxe or something that was defective.

I got the Shockwave lab pack! I thought it would be a pretty cool centerpiece... it ended up costing me twice the price just because of the friggin' shipping it was ridiculous. Shockwave is cool but mine had a little defect on one of the wheel on its back and I never unpackd Predaking from his plastic cage :p
