This is one of those underrated hidden gems, in my opinion. I will never forget the first time seeing this when we first got cable television and I couldn't wait to get home from school to watch cable TV! This was on TBS Superstation. Lol. Great cinematic shots and scenery, great acting and especially by Bart the Bear. Also have to appreciate the soundtrack by Jerry Goldsmith!

The Edge really impressed me: the dialogues, breathtaking landscapes, the raw dangers, and the beauty of the wilderness were mesmerizing. The incredible performances and the cohesive storytelling made it even better. I absolutely love films that teach us something valuable and can genuinely be called masterpieces!
The screams when the black guy gets mauled by the grizzly bear, and how the screaming suddenly stops, I will never forget. Holy s*** that's some nightmare fuel. 😮

This film has really scary and intense scenes, and with sounds and music it's work perfect 👌🏻
