Well done bud 💥👍
Because what one man can do, another can do?
@@craigsikurinec7457 you goddam right!
I love that line “No, no Charles. How are WE going to lure him?”
Bob was so pathetically helpless without Charles. Relied on Charles for EVERYTHING. For fires, for food, for killing the bear, for making the coats out of the bear's hide, everything. He would have been history in just a few hours without the magnanimous and highly intelligent Charles there. And Bob STILL tried to off him. My god. He totally got what he deserved at the end. Ingrate.
"What one man can do, another can do!" Not a bad life motto. I say it all the time when presented with presented with seemingly insurmountable hurdles.
An underappreciated movie and a GREAT scene. That simple line should go down in film history as one of the best ever.
I myself just imagine how a smarter man would solve the problem I'm facing. (That's from another David Mamet movie, _Heist_ )
Absolutely LOVE this movie and Hopkins and Baldwin sells every scene.
Underrated film, for me it's a masterpiece.
Unforgettable scene from an unforgettable movie. I actually saw it in a theater when it came out!!
Respect.
@@loopphasevariance8220 I still remember in the theater watching this movie, when Anthony Hopkins said something like 'You want DIE here?'. To which my friend, sitting next to me, said, 'Oh how English is that accent'!' My friend passed away almost 20 years ago but the memories of him, including watching movie with him, remain. PS. We also saw 'Forrest Gump' and 'Saving Private Ryan' in a theater together. The great 90s!! The Greatest Era in Movies!! PS. We were not or not gay! Just good old Southern friends! Hahaaha!
@@meengla Nah man, I totally gotcha. When I lived in the little town I grew up in, I didn't have much as entertainment. So I know how it feels remembering seeing these movies.
Having that connection... I get you.
Amazing film , love this scene ❤
Helluva scene!!
All the women who chose the bear in this current MEME generation realize something... I hope.
Sure, never hurts to have hope. lol
Maybe it's cos I saw this movie or _Grizzly Man (2005),_ directed by Werner Herzog, about Timothy Treadwell or _The Revenant (2015)_ by Inarritu , but,..
.. to me the solution was pretty simple. I do not want to meet a bear. Nope. Nope.
I can’t imagine still caring about what woman decide to do honestly 😂
CHRISTMAS EVE 24 12 2024
1st time i saw this movie i thought it was just another Survival movie and have no impact in my life but i was wrong Everytime life gets me down i watch this Movie and the Powerful Scenes. May not be the Greatest movie ever but for me it's Essential for Giving Courage and Hope to the weary.
Yeah, Antony Hopkins character was truly remarkable. The contrast with Alec's character also help put this into perspective. _"We're gonna walk away from here"_ . No ifs, ands, or buts.

BLOOD!
LOL.. In reality, Kodiak Bears eat salmon and are relatively mellow. They don't 'seek blood' like a shark.
But did u like the movie ?
There are plenty of exceptions. Man killing bears are not completely uncommon. Read up on it.
Hungry predators will go after anything eadible.
Like lions it’s the older or weaker ones that get dangerous. They’ll do what they have to do
It's laughable pretty desperate
Good work
