Now, here’s my advice on how to deal with this boss. In order to summon the Allmother of Seals, you simply need to interact in any way with the Seal Trainee. Remember that the Seal Trainee is different than a baby seal, but there are a few ways to tell which one was randomly selected to be the trainee. The Trainee’s voice lines are lower pitched, and the fur is slightly darker - if you can tell Romania and Chad’s flags apart, finding the Trainee should be easy enough. After this, the Allmother appears. During her first phase, the Allmother of Seals creates minor shockwaves as she approaches - be sure to roll whenever you see snow start to form a shockwave pattern, as you will take heavy damage otherwise. The Allmother’s attacks are fairly easy to dodge in phase 1. Just roll out of the way as she slides towards you, never stop moving when she throws fish, and roll away when she chomps. While they are predictable and easy to dodge, her attacks all deal heavy damage, and as such mistakes are heavily punished - be sure not to eat food while fighting her. Be at full attention the entire time. After dealing with her first healthbar, she becomes the Primordial Seal, and phase two begins. Her chomp works the same, but she’ll start to thow fish ahead of you during the fish throw, so you’ll need to weave instead of just basic linear running. Additionally, she summons many young seals - including the Trainee - during her slide, so you’ll need to dodge many times in quick succession with perfect precision for that attack. Luckily, only the Primordial Seal and Trainee Seal do heavy damage. She also gains the ability to summon young seals and matured seals to attack you, which can be difficult to deal with while also dodging the Primordial Seal’s attack. Just don’t get greedy with damaging the boss, take your time and kill the enemies first. Finally, she can now create more shockwaves, which were covered previously. She’s much more devastating in this phase, and barely leaves room for healing. Finally, the Primordial Seal goes down, and the final phase begins. The Trainee Seal attack head on, and much easier than the Primordial. While the Trainee Seal constantly summon Young Seals, Matured Seals, and even Leopard Seals, the only attack she has is the slide - which works the same as the Primordial’s Slide, except the trainee seal is now in the front instead of the primordial seal and the amount of seals has been increased by ten. This doesn’t make dodging much harder, especially with how rarely it winds up being used. She also has a chomp, but it’s even weaker than the Allmother’s chomps. This fight gives you the Seal-Blessed Sword, a very useful sword for speed and maneuverability. Hope this guide helped!
In DS3 when you get to the Crucifixion Woods, there are tiny little crabs all throughout the swamp. If you kill one, that significantly increases the aggro range of the big crabs and they come running to smash you into paste.
Those crabs can be parried and get their shit ran if you're patient. ANY of their frontal attacks, not the side slams. Even the grab attack can be parried.
Sometimes trigger hitboxes are just trash like you should atleast get a warning message not just get the strongest boss in the game because you wanted to pet a cute seal
Honestly, I think a Leopard Seal would be the better option due to them being the most dangerous seal type, therefore maximizing your chances of survival as any type of seal.

That boss was HARD. ESPECIALLY the attack where it jumps in the air and flops down. The shockwave has an unbelievably big hitbox. any advice for further runs?
I know this is gonna sound crazy but you need to hit it. This’ll cause it to go back but the Allmother of seals will counter with an even bigger shockwave. You need to keep reflecting them until she slips up and is stunned. That’ll allowing you to go in and get tons of damage in on her.
if you kill the small enemy first (I used the club), the boss becomes temporarily stunned and can you finish them off quickly. Pretty underwhelming fight, tbh, but the pelt armor looks cool
Roll immediately (5-10 frames) before the belly impact, this will give you a 100-200 frame window to counter-spam power/spirit attacks then IMMEDIATELY move away. Keep chipping away, use rsnged if possible and don’t let her attack connect with u. Above comment re: clubbing the small one first should be attempted as well. Good luck 👍🏾
Honestly I can empathise with the mother here, my first thought when I saw this thing approaching my and the little sealbro's direction was to square up all, "no you stay away from my little white fluffnugget" What an awful misunderstanding that would be, but I'm sure we'd laugh about it 7 years down the line
