Stratocaster tales...... Tone chasing .....AGAIN ..
The more I do this the more I realise it's the sum of all parts, the guitar , the body wood, the neck wood, the pickups, the speakers, the speaker cab, the amp.........
The magic TONE lies where all the parts work together .
I have just recently bought a cheap rosewood neck of fleabay to try on my Strat, whilst it's not the best it is surprisingly decent and also came with a pretty good bone nut !! I've then placed a set of pickups I've been working with Mark foley on into the guitar ...
Same recipe / Slightly different ingredients - BIG DIFFERENCE IN TONE .....
I can't tell if the amp and speakers are darker or the rosewood neck is making that much of a difference ? or all of the above combined ?
Strange how well your ears become good at fine tuning - expensive .........

This was at the point of starting to get difficult to hear normal speaking over . The master volumes on these amps are the best I’ve ever played 👍🏽

Awesome playing like always! Have you checked out the hdrx20? That through your 2x10 cab would slay… sold all my other amps, it’s that good for home playing. So dynamic and full even at low volumes…what tone tubbys have you got in there?

Got the tone tubby reds in there , but not sure I like how much highs they roll off ? Thinking off adding a ceramic in the mix ⚡️⚡️
