Yeah I'm pretty sure he pretended to be asleep or given general anesthesia or sedation ,he is pretty when he's asleep. ❤This has been a teenager from the 21st century talking about a guy from 90's
Mis Kay Damon was easily one of the most physically attractive men I've ever seen in my life (next to Kurt Cobain, who was breathtakingly beautiful without even trying).
Graham hands down every time. Normally like a drummer so hey Dave's serving. Damon is an absolute babe but too hyper for me and Idky but Alex leaves me cold. Each to their own ❤
I blame Damon Albarn for my obsession with multicolored bead necklaces. First I shopped for them in thrift stores, then I bought my own beads. And now me, and all of my loved ones, are festooned with colorful necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Guess what everyone will receive at the holidays? 📿📿

I've been a Blur fan for years, but this only recently became my favorite of theirs. The refrain "And I don't know about you/But they're putting the holes in/Yes Yes" has been stuck in my head for going on a week now. FML
Looks great, there are videos that can't be restored to 4K due to the type of film used, so the upscaling is the only option and it looks pretty decent to me.
Let's all take a second for the drummer. Every Blur video is all; "Gawd, Damon is Goooorgeous, Alex is totally underrated bass player, Graham is a guitar genius!" No one ever mentions the drummer!
OK, he's a cool kid, but he practically plays the tonic notes only and mainly on stage he forgets closed the volume knob of the bass amp. Not exactly a John Entwistle follower...
I learned about Blur as a kid in the mid 90s. But I haven't noticed this song till this week, and I think the looping guitar riff and the start-stop structure is beatific and gorgeous. What a great discovery. Entered my top 5 Blur songs I believe.
An album I find myself going back to more than the others. Modern Life is Rubbish. It’s specisl in a way that Parklife is not. It’s seminal in a way that’s not clear. Damon and the boys are discovering that balance of petulant lad sonics with proper english societal normalcy. No stand out hits per say, but an array of great tunes that I absolutely love today. Chemical World, Star Shaped, Sunday Sunday, Popscene, For tomorrow, Advert, Colin Zeal, Coping and Turn it up are all fantastic tracks. Sometimes the things we find are the things we overlooked. This is an overlooked song on an overlooked album. Great work, lads.
This has been my favorite song since I was a kid, and I love it even more now. The washed out guitar, the lyrics, just everything. I doubt I will ever hear a better song in my life.
This is one of those songs for me that I didn’t remember the name of the song for my life but my brother and dad always listened to when I was younger. I’m so glad I found out what it was.
Favorite mv from blur. It may be simple but i love the nature aspect and they look like they are having so much fun! (Not to mentionhow pretty they look)
I had a little crush on Damon when I was quite young, probably about 7 years old. Now I'm 32 and I've been listening to Blur again at work, the feeling came back haha.
Back when I was about 16 I had 'Modern Life is Rubbish'. It's the only Blur album I ever really liked. Nostalgia bought me here, having not heard this song in a very long time.
It is great to try to remaster all of the Blur vids and some are definitively better now, BUT this particular upscaling is messy and not pleasant to look at, I hope you're not gonna do that to Girls & Boys 😥
it's weird coz it looks like it's being sourced from something higher quality than what was previously available / the best of dvd.. but then fed through sharpening or something. it looks both objectively sharper and better quality but also looks really nasty at the same time.
A music staple. "Everyones doing heroin! Look cute." You got to have a tune to back it up though and this is perfect for it. They had a knack of darkness through brightness. Great band
I don't know if this video is magical and good because I was watching it in my teens, when one is still absorbing everything and when memories of that era are just so intense, or if it's that really, it's a cool video with a special mood...My my, 20 years have passed, but this doesn't change. Ha. Life : )
An utterly beautiful song. But for 21 years, until today, I thought the last line was "I'll do a curtsy right now!" xD I don't think I'll change what I sing along with now - far, far too late! :D
