“Standard is phenomenal right now”? You can’t be serious. The top decks are all aggro crap with above a 50% win rate against any other deck. How is that phenomenal? Yeah you can brew but you’re going to lose A LOT on turn 2/3 with an opponent with 2 mana and 0 brain cells. That’s fun? It’s been this way for YEARS. I’ve played reanimator, every combo deck, control, mill, spell slinger, etc. and although I get to “do the thing” once every 10 games every single deck gets slapped around by aggro. Even with the perfect draw on the play the consistency of those decks compared to anything else is a joke. Standard is a dumpster fire.

@@eldestblaylock772 By your logic any format with a dominant archetype is a waste of time and inferior to BO3 standard? Saying that WOTC needs to fix the way they adjust dominant decks EVEN in BO1 is important. That’s why Timeless and Alchemy are a joke, overpowered archetypes that dominate most decks. BO3 requires no more skill than BO1, statistically it’s 3 BO1 matches with whoever is either going first or draws better winning.
