Just getting back into MTG, last time I played was Ice Age lol. My kids found some boxes of my old cards and I taught them how to play and they are hooked. I was thinking of picking up a box of the MH3 play boosters to start up a collection again and just seeing what we can make for funsies. Do you think that's a dumb idea? Should I just look up some cheap decklists and buy singles to put together 3-4 decks to start with and upgrade as we go instead? So much has happened since 1995 I don't know where to start haha. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also I'm on the island, let me know some of your favorite stores to shop /play at. Thanks!
Strongly recommend to buy singles, or buy a box of a more straightforward and cheaper set. MH3 is just about the worst possible entry point. Happy to have you back in the game!

I think the Battlefly Swarm were in the deck because they're +1/+1s to be pumped by seedcore

Seems great post board vs golgari... not boarding in the poison package match one is almost as sus as solving the case and letting it die immediately.

Wow, I’ve been trying to figure out a way to use 3 total playsets of tribal lands work in standard for like a year, and finally someone has done it!
It looked like The Seed Core would let you target the 1/1's that were buffed by the lord, not sure if Arena bug or intended tho
