- This is a day in my life as a slow living minimalist.
Join me as I shoot videos in the forest, work from a coworking space in the afternoon, and relax at night.
I try to live with intention. Taking it one day at a time. I try to do things that feel meaningful and joyful to me. To build a life I can reflect on in old age with a smile.

Enjoyed this. I am sitting on my front porch in my rocker with my dogs and cats. We live on a big lot of land in a valley surrounded by mountains in the Southern U.S. I’ve been into simple living for thirty years now. Today has been about rest, homemade simple meals, reading and light chores and savoring. Sundays have become a day we cherish to stay home and enjoy home. Thanks for the content. It’s nice to know there are others out there living the simple non-consumeristic life.

Thank you!! Good to have you back! Lovely scenery, the bumblebee, the woods...but I kind of felt totally busted when you talked to the dino, I do that sometimes or even talk to myself with another voice to keep in check when I procastinate or completely get lazy.
Thank you Peter for another inspiring video. I like your perspective on what slow living is to you. Walking in nature is my saviour, I am lucky enough to live near many footpaths. Your truth on intention is refreshing, it is not good to beat ourselves up when we don't achieve the day's goals.

I have a friend who is constantly asking me, "Is that all you did today?". Yes. That's all I did today. I live fairly much minimalistic and find joy in it. Some days I volunteer at food pantries or thrift stores. Seeing the abundance that is donated keeps me on track. One thing in, one thing out. And yes, some days i live very slowly with great intention and find that I learn more, enjoy more and feel better to share. So yes to my friend. That is all I did today!
I’ve just had a really bad fibro flare. Ive had to learn to be kind to myself which involves not caring about what others think of me.
Thanks for the calming video Peter! I'm envious of your pace, however it makes me wonder what changes I can make. I often find myself rushing to get more done. Have to ask, what happened to your old apartment?

I absolutely love your lifestyle. I'd love to learn more about how you earn a living. I currently took a major pay cut to live more slowly and heal my body, but the struggles of paying basic bills have only intensified. I love what I do now, but the money is so unpredictable!

Mooie video weer! Is dit een tijdelijke verblijfplaats? Prachtig uitzicht ook! Als je de camino wil lopen, informeer je dan goed op welk tijdstip je welke route je loopt. Op de camino frances is het in de zomer super druk en moet je bijna vechten voor een slaapplaats. De laatste jaren is de pelgrimsroute populair bij de Amerikanen. Ik liep 5 camino's naar Santiago op verschillende momenten. Het voor- of najaar zijn ideaal qua warmte en drukte.

Kind of personal so no need to answer if you don't want. :) Just curious about dating as a minimalist. Do you use dating apps, or just leave it to chance to meet people. Or maybe you're happily single or in a relationship. I'm a bit of a hermit myself at times and don't particularly like dating apps :)

I guess if you're living by your seasonal circadian rhythms it would depend what time the sun comes up.
I always sleep later in Winter because sunrise is around 7.30 but in Sumner I wake up around 5am.
I love sleep I get up at 9 am
