Yes. It's not my style at all, but it's stunning and so is she. I don't know why she's talking about learning to be comfortable in her own body. She's gorgeous.
Yes. A lot of those things you could do on a tighter budget as well. For instance, the painted secretary with the wallpaper backing. You could pick up a yard sale or thrift store piece and do something very similar for almost nothing.

What an exquisite apartment. I'm with you about dressers. When I stayed at the Wedgwood Inn in New Hope, PA, my room had a gorgeous classic sideboard instead of a dresser. It also had a square flat butter dish by Villeroy & Boch underneath a carafe of water by the bed. Those opened my eyes about repurposing things for both function and decor.
Thank you for the tour of your home. The apartment is absolutely stunning. Your use of mirrors and lighting really makes your space expansive. I love the story you've told with all of the pieces you've chosen. I'm happy that you have this beautiful space to call yours.
I am extraordinarily grateful to have been introduced to this remarkably well-decorated and designed Home. Her tastes and preferred aesthetic is profoundly aligned with my own Home Decor leanings. She and I have so much in common that it is actually, rather startling. I, too, have history with residing in Paris. I also used to work for the Luxury division of L'Oréal. I used to live in New York City, too! My goodness. I now own a lovely, Colonial Revival style Home in the suburbs and I am actively decorating with a thoroughly Parisian aesthetic in mind. I concur, quite sadly, pertaining to the conundrum of Black floors. The entire second floor of my Home was bought featuring high-gloss, Black painted hard wood flooring. Absolutely EVERY speck is glaringly visible, much to my utter dismay. Overall, Michelle should be very, very proud of her Parisian West Village abode. Her taste is impeccable and satisfying, in equal measure. 🖤🇫🇷🖤
It's difficult to choose my favorite part of this gorgeous space. But if I had to, the rounded wall nook with the tall lamp with black shade and fringe and the David bust is really special. Thank you for giving a tour of your lovely home.

Omigosh I love this so much I had to watch it again & I'll probably keep coming back to it, but I do agree that you have to live in your space so not to worry about the resale and pieces of furniture should be used however you want ( the buffet) I currently live in a very small space; it's just a room in a house that I rent from a friend and amazingly, even though I moved in sight unseen, everything I have fits beautifully so I managed to create a tiny little studio complete with living sleeping dining & " kitchen" area , lol, but I said all that to say this: I'm always looking for design ideas and inspiration and this apartment definitely fills that bill so thank you for having me along ; I enjoyed every minute of it.
That is amazing, truly. I could actually live with those cabinet colors. Cozy and elegant at the same time. Better than some architectural digest/celeb designs I've seen. A lot better.
