I followed him in college...he went off on everyone and led his team to the longest win streak that year... Davidson College!! As soon as he signed with Davidson His coach new they would be great.... Any team Steph would’ve gone to would’ve been great! He can create his own shot with no help at all and his been that way even before leading Davidson to the elite 8 and making them relevant.... So watching this, is reminding them of that unanimous, MVP level player. I say this, because the Media already sold their narratives for this years MVP, and Curry was not even in their minds.

We would've ruined Steph and never developed him properly. Or we would've shipped him out of town when he had all of the ankle injuries because this franchise has ZERO patience with their drafted players. Curry wouldn't be the same player if he was on the Knicks. Golden State's medical staff were the ones who came up with his special Ankle Braces that kept him from getting injured. Also when he was injured most teams would've traded him as projections showed he wouldn't be able to maintain his health so the Knicks probably would've traded him. We can't act like players are the player that they are no matter where they go, Oladipo wasn't close to what he was right now on the Magic or Thunder. It's about fit and Golden State was the best fit.

About half of it is the organization. But some credit to Curry too. He's personality and culture he creates as a leader makes players want to play with him and he elevates others. You look at Warriors players they always dancing and high five Curry because they enjoy playing with him. Some players bring doom and depression to their teammates I can name a few.

@@neckboneschannel Obviously Curry is a Top 10 Greatest of All-Time talent and I give him all the credit in the world for putting in the work to make that happen I'm just saying that Golden State is the reason why Curry was able to excel to that not because they made him better or anything but because they believed in him 100% and helped him as much as they could. I bet there are some NBA players that were All-Stars that could've been All-Time Greats if they were with good organizational fits.

Yeah, the problem with Jimmer is he only can shoot and shoot only. He is not crafty like Curry or Irving. He can not creates his own shoot off the dribble. Plus he is 2 inches shorter than both Curry and Irving. He is poor man's J.J. Reddick, and that's a low ceiling for a PG.

He’s more than just the best shooter. He’s got that killer instinct and the most efficient in the clutch. He would knock those 2 free throws that Lebron missed. Lebron isnt good in the free throw line and even worse in clutch moments. They refs can help him by putting him in the free Throw line when he fouls his way to the basket. It’s horrible now, he’s so used to get the call that he doesn’t even finess his way to the basket, he just fouls his way to the basket and if he missed the lay up, the referee just calls the foul either way. But the refs can’t shoot the free throws for him.

While everyone acknowledges that Steph is a great player, he is actually being under represented as one of, if not the deadliest all time offensive player ever. He get's overlooked because he isn't posterizing other players on a nightly basis, dunking is not part of his game.
To illustrate this, basketball is moving towards more sabermetrics, but's it's still been slow to adapt. If you follow baseball you know that sabermetrics is all they talk about. But if you ran some kind of sabermetrics with Curry, he would probably grade out as the best offensive player ever on a per game basis.
I know this season is still young, but he is shooting 55% from the field, 53% from 3 point range, and 91% from the line. Usually only big men who shoot near the room can get that high a field goal %. But Steph is doing this and he is doing this by launching balls from all over the court.
He might not be as gifted a raw athlete as MJ and LBJ, but he is more efficient than both those guys and he will one day be possibly recognized as the greatest offensive player ever if you judge it by efficiency.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing Stephen A. No one could predict Curry's development or he would have been selected #1 overall....if the Knicks knew about his greatness, they would have traded up one spot. No guarantee either that he would have developed into the player he is in NY. The pressure and distractions may have impeded his development, who knows.
At the time of the Draft in 2009, he was 'just' a good shooter with potential from a smaller College. On the shorter side and with below average athleticism, during a time when D. Rose was the man and every GM was looking for a strong and hyper athletic PG to emulate D. Rose. Don't forget that!
Like I said, hindsight is easy.
