I'm an 85 year old man. After practicing these steps every day for 3 months --- sometimes only 5 minutes at a time because my frail joints must have time to rest --- I feel 15 years younger. My granddaugher is so proud of me, I'll be able to walk her down the isle and shuffle at the dance party at her wedding. 😁
thats so tough
@@bosha6654 fr this man a legend
Yo cant wait for a follow up to this!❤
Heck yes!
Waowww, keep healthy ❤❤
It looks so easy when you do it man. Mine's a totally different strory😖
Really appreciate these videos, only thing is it would be helpful to break these moves down into counts, so you know where the feet should be placed on the beat
That's exactly what I need to progress right now ! Thanks Harrison !
Awesome! No problem!
my brotha :)
iamLucid Aye nice to see you here bro 🙏🏻🖤
I just moved this comment from 20 likes to 21 likes. All for you lucid
I just moved this comment from 23 likes to 24 likes. All for you lucid
hahah just came here after seeing Lucid's video
You all on nofap?
This deserves more notice, it’s amazing!
I wish I was 25 years younger than I am, I'd be practicing these moves all the time. Still at 45, I'll give it a go and practise my " dad dancing".
Thanks Harrison, your a fantastic dancer and great teacher, keep up the good work mate 👍
it’s annoying how as soon as you get older dancing becomes ‘dad’ dancing
Mate if you practiced and got as good as him nobody would call you a dad dancer. I don’t think there’s anything prohibitively athletic about this style to stop you doing it at 45. Just a couple thousand hours practice and you’ll smash it. Maybe some testosterone replacement therapy wouldn’t hurt either to get your joints bouncy again 👌👍
@@williamcoatman5547 I started shuffle at the age of 59
45 is still young :) There are people in their 70's shuffling. So keep praciticing. Its great excercise and a great skill to have.
The top comment, above you guy, is 85. So I guess we can all do it, no excuses lol
You just hit my algorithm but I remember watching your tutorial at my friends house when I 1st started shuffling!
Thanks for the back views. This is the most important view for a tutorial and nobody else doing it.
This is an awesome tutorial but can I ask that next time you don't wear all black so I can see which leg goes where? :'D
yes exactly haha
Thank you so much for showing the view from the back! My brain understands the steps a lot more easily that way. I wish _all_ shuffle tutorials were done like that.
Thank you SOOOOO muchhhh ^ ^ now i can dace these because of YOUUUUUUUU >v< THANKSS
Freestep 🤙🏻
Sweet moves getting it
Got recommended by lucid very good teacher!
The back view so useful, the back view makes everything more easy 😅👍🏻
Smooth moves. Simple to follow. Thanks man!
You take long time uploading new vedios actually give time to practice a lot😊.I started watching your vedios late.just 2 weeks ago.you make amazing stuff.keep working 👍
Thank you homie, I enjoy your break downs. Please keep up the great work!
wow what an amazing and incredible dancer you are and the way you teach is just fabulous
Sweet foot work bro! Great choice of tunes
Brah.. you are just amazing.. i have never danced my entire life...lol teach me how to dance plz...
I’ve never danced in my life but I’m absolutely in love with Cutting Shapes since I saw it earlier this week. I’m a bit overweight but slowly starting to get the Charleston & RM down but I feel like I’m stomping on the ground almost. Does this just get better overtime or an I doing them wrong?
Sorry z I’m quite underweight and I’ve been hitting the ground like an elephant, Im sure with more practice and better form that force gets mitigated
Dude I learned Charleston in 3 months.
Just by practicing slowly anyone can master.
Yeah you'll get better for sure, you see overweight guys cutting shapes at raves. I think the main difference is they have to generate a little more force for their hops, so they aren't quite as nimble but they can still match the beat. To avoid stomping I just utilize toe strength more. Your calves will burn but you'll get better.
Important is exercising, Jogging frequently and warming up will help you a lot
HARDCORE TO THE MEGA
Awesome😍💥
Appreciate it!
You are so light on your feet! That's grt!
saloni mittal Thank you so much! :)
@@SteamzAus you're welcome:)
thanks for this video! :) it's really helpful.
What shoes bro? I felt in love with them 😅
Are cutting shapes part of shuffling or are you guys religiously separating those?
Either way, I guess you can combine basically everything.
Great video, been practicing these moves.
What is the difference between Steps 2 and 3? Is it just Step 2 you have your toes off the ground with the front foot, and in 3 you have a flat foot?
The 2nd one is a running man heel, while the 3rd one is a regular running man, same step just a variation
@@pedromartinazzo5036 TY!
I feel like an absolute idiot when trying this... I can't seem to cross my legs and lift one foot on its heel and the other on the toe... Wtf is this man hahha
Haha, we all started like that, it just takes constant repetition so your brain can memorise the muscle memory
Thanks for this! Really helpful
hello very good aprendere tambiem
Great vid, BUT. Why do all shuffler tuts insist on wearing black pants Lol! makes it hard to tell which leg is which for beginners. Once you reach intermediate the movements are easier to catch onto, but when I was first starting out I had a hard time.
My running man is not smooth in any
Way
Any tips to perfect it? Trying to start out
Slow but it looks
So
Bad
❤❤❤
funny how he can make it look so impressive but i just look like im jumping around
chatper markers please :)
Awesome
Do each of these have names?
thank you
Bro I can do it at about 100-105 bpm but I can't do it on faster songs any advice
Love ❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊
You are very good, good luck

I just made you 100th like cuz it was just at 99
you help me and my group to make a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ show... nice, boiiiiiiiiiii

What is step 4 called? :)
Footworks ever so looking for, found here
I am deathly stuck on step 6, I can't seem to do it fast without messing up, anyone have any tips?
Same, I think it needs to be broken down into steps/ counts. Every shape and step has to hit a count, so an audio breakdown with each step on the count would be helpful
Step 5 and 6 both got me feeling like a tard hahahaha
This is Disco...
...Elysium
Good in terms of variety but for a total beginner I’m finding there’s not enough time spent on each section to really break it down. Rewinding isn’t ideal because it’s still the same tempo, just a bit to quick for a total beginner I find! Thanks nonetheless
then slow down the playback speed...
harrison can you tell me your background music
Music 2:24 ???
Name of first song? Cant find
My teacher forced me to learn this

Its so awkward coming from a melbounre shuffle style to this. I will admit this style look more appealing to viewers.
i agree

Привет из Беларуси, какой у тебя рост?
How...
Name song step 5
I like how you wore black to make it as hard to follow as possible
2:24 "easy"
i`m 50 yo. maybe your youngest student! lol
Black jeans were a poor choice of clothes to teach in. It would've been a great video otherwise.
This is perfect. Thank you so much!!
Ricky Domer No problem, thanks for watching!
