That's awesome!! It's seems to be a nice bike granted. But how do you get pass the outward cylinders design?? Especially if you're a tall person. I even sat on a Goldwing and that bike was comfortable. The Goldwing cylinders seems to sit forward more and covered up. No comparing the brand just an observation.
@@TD205 well I’m 5’8” and the riding position is just about the same as my GSA 1200. I think what people miss is that BMW is not trying to go head to head with Harley. They reinvented a 1935 R series bike and at that it’s a serious success. I was excited about the retro styling and serious nod to Bmw heritage. I would never say it’s going to be better at Harley things at Harley things just as Harley will never be better at bmw things. Having said that they both build an amazing product and I hope that this level of completion across the sectors will spur innovation from both companies. I’ll let you know how I feel about after another 6000 miles but it’s snowing here now so I may have to wait a few months. Cheers
@@dkslackmaster Yeah, that makes sense. I not a Harley fan myself or brand loyal to a particular company. As ong as your riding that's perfect👍🏿. I was just surprised at that engine design. Being I'm ridden a S1000R before so I know BMW quality. I went to a event this past weekend and it's was 50/50 opinions about. They had a chart at their tent. That's sounds good. I'm 5'10 and my legs were hitting the cylinder. Maybe I wasn't use to that style of bike😁.
Real classy running the red light. Bet you do that in your car as well. Wouldn’t care if some infant in another vehicle gets killed. It’s all about you.
Not sure brother. The Goldwing has been out for ages. It's the "Cadillac of motorcycle", "The top of the line", "Creme della creme of motorcycles". BMW just came out with this particular cruiser bike. R18 hasn't been out long enough to compare to the Goldwing. Don't really believe anything could compare to a Goldwing MY opinion.👌🏿
I’ve got 6000 miles on mine so far and other then the seat it’s amazing. Swapped out to a Corbin and it made all the difference

The windscreen is abhorrent. BMW should be ashamed. Clearview Shields applied their 36 years of experience and made a proper one.
Cool bike was looking at that like expensive lol
It's actually not that expensive per say. I think he said about 17k. Most Harleys are like 25K and up.😂

Thanks for watching!!
How u rate it's suspension?
The suspension was great. Could barely feel a bump. Low center of gravity, I'm 5'10 and could flat foot the bike. 9 out of 10👍🏿
Good video Bruh, It even sounds like an airplane. Do you think it will be comfortable on long trips¿??
Thanks bro!! Yes, it would be comfortable on long rides. The motor design is just different.😁
N do u think it is as good as Goldwing in terms of reliability?

9:14 Am I dreaming or did they run a red light?
Thanks for watching!!
Great video! What gear were you in most of the time around town? And did you feel any heat from the cylinders?
Thanks for watching!! I really can't remember. I'll have to rewatch. Maybe 4th or 5th I assume. Yes, I felt the heat.
