The shading and lighting in the last one were done really well by you art senpai but I wouldn’t have changed the face. You compared the look to Rize Kamishiro but I feel like it was exactly supposed to come off like that, while it completely changed in your version. Idk maybe it’s because my own character have evil looks and smiles like that but it really bothered me. Just as someone here said: it changed the way the character was supposed to look like.
It’s probably just a style thing or personal preference but I just wanted to say it^^ The mouth was okay though, it was mostly the eyes that bothered me lol
The last picture was ruined by him. The original one was so much better.

@@mikotomisaka1379 the og was done in a more webtoon like illustration style, he doesn’t understand that and went with his own version of it, you can just ignore that and everything else that he said is still correct. Giving that to him was like giving google a complex sentence and hope that it will fully translate it for you

Aye liked the video, I think your personal bias in art style might have strayed from the original piece a bit too much for the last one’s face but aside from that, I learned lots about how to color better from this which I appreciate 👉👉
As you were redrawing, since I'm struggling to get better at art, this was weirdly insanely entertaining. It felt like I was watching a really good Baseball game or something. Please do keep on showing a redrawing!
I don't really like the third redraw, your art style bias is showing, it gives off a different vibe.
The original looks more like a bad Bitch ya know?, The redraw is more innocent and the face looks weirder imao, just my Opinion
I love the time lapse of the redraws. The only thing is the explaining how to darken the characters, if you could maybe have that part In real time it would be really helpful.

@@IanKS777 I’m not sure if you’ve understood my intentions or not. I wanted to say, that the original(it seems, it’s yours) face was better. Art Sempai made the hair better, but ruined(too harsh to say, sorry) the face. He tried to use his signature face style, but it ruined the proportions. He just overdid. That’s the point
I actually learnt quite alot from this video, and I am pretty thankful, however 12:39, when you changed her face... I think the original artist tried going for a more 'seducing'/'adult' look, you redrew the face in a very good way but it is 'kawaii', and it didn't really match the vibe...or at least I think so. I think the faces both ways look decent. (If you think otherwise thats fine, im just confused about that part.)

Just my opinion but i think the 3rd original looked better than the correction. The blazer being kinda matte is totally fine, just hair could be improved

Art senpai! Can you do a tutorial for digital line art? I'm pretty confident now with my anatomy, but each time I color my work the line art and the color just doesn't match.

itsokay! everyone have their own preference...i personally cant draw boys before since im used to drawing girls (hence...its hard for me to not draw oppai, haha). but im working on it now...drawing flats and boys are as fun as drawing girls with oppai!

Last one was better before, only a few tweaks would have helped it in my opinion, such as the hair and light rays, otherwise it wasn't to bad.
@Eternal Serenity Well yeah I can agree that either looks good, and he did give it more contrast in the lighting. Different preferences for different tastes.

Good video! also, could you do a posing tutorial video? Because i'm strugglling with it TwT. I do know how to make interressting poses but i have no idea how to make them looks natural....so it would be helpful if you do that, but if you won't that's okay
Also, be careful when you changing colors, accessoiry or else because for the last one it may can be blessing because the character maybe was not so kawaii but badass and the author probaly did'nt wanted to have this illustrations becaming ""cultured"". It's like posting a draw for a draw review and the drawing you posted is supposed to be gore , but the reviewer make it looks kawaii. But i hope for you the author is okay with this
ill take the advice, and learn how the hair will look like more better, but as human being and as an artist who have pride, that still hurt my heart tho :( xD

Okay well, im not a frequent watcher on your channel but is the ahoge rlly important?? Like you say "dont forget the ahoge" like its an important thing you can't forget, like the last one, the ahoge wasn't necessary, nor did it look good (imo)
So is the ahoge important?
Bc there are times where an ahoge would look good on a character, like the first one, and there are ones like the last which doesn't suit it.
(I don't mean to sound offensive, Its a legit question xd)

For the 10:26 darken part,I think it's not that good since darken the whole character and highlight clothes will only let the viewers focus on highlights, I think the darken part should be use on background (lower the saturation) so the viewers can focus on character
