Making longer and more detailed videos about a whole artwork is such a good idea, super useful if you want to improve your artwork as a whole or practice specific parts, keep it up!
The original work is very beautiful and carefully shaded, the colors are especially on point! I think there are some mistakes in the anatomy or at least some areas are difficult to read and make the body a bit ambiguous. But I realize how difficult it is to notice that and correct when you're in the thick of it. An amazing painting overall!
Uh.. Senpai ^_^' Honestly speaking. Vignette doesn't suit for an artwork describing the summer. It's supposed to be bright. As for the character focus, it's still important to keep the background as it is when it's summer. The amount of work the original did has more effort for the background. So, they need to highlight the background as well. About the light source on the hip, it may seem out of logic. But, it covers up with the tree shade. And lastly, about the bars. I assume the original didn't mean to draw a bar for the staircase but instead it's for the sideline to the street road. The bar is separating the grass field from the road. And this one's from your version, I'm not saying it's out of perspective. But, you could have changed the cat's tail position. Why lining it up when you can go with the s shape of its tail leaning on her arm. That would be more appealing since the car seems to relax from her touch. Sorry about my long speech 😅
just wanted to point out: I assume you are assuming it’s summer, but orange leaves falling is usually during autumn (and also vignetting isn’t off limits to summer, it has practical use, and is present when photographer/artist requires their usage)
@@SwordFasticthose are not orange leaves like mapple tree? And if it's autumn, the weather scenery would be different. Why is there a big cloud with clear blue sky if it's not summer? Autumn and Summer share a different kind of vibe. That's totally not fit for autumn-
@@nightcoreaiko6336 I don't like most of the changes that where done to this piece. The gesture or fluterring of the hair was erased. Her expression doesn't seem happy in the change, it's somewhat stiff. The perspective of the clothing around her tummy doesn´t make sense compared to the original. The blue hues of the sky light are gone on the skin tone. The bar on the first piece was ok, but now with the changes looks worse because it has a higher value and is closer wich makes the overall composition more clustered. And I really don´t like the added details of the foreground, mainly the mapple leaves, it's to much and it blocks the legs of the girl. Overall, I think that it was a good idea to change the position of the cat that was getting hugged, but the change lacks something. And after watching the original piece for some time, I realized that there was another cat on the shadow of the floor, wich I think the artist has to make it seem a little more noticable to the viewer. This is why I hate to give feedback to an art piece.

Umm guys thanks for such passionate comments 💐😅 I really didn’t think much when drawing it since i focused on having fun.. But yeah it is summer and the red leaf (??) well i meant that as a flower patel (they were on the back ;-; ) but it’s ok i get the original isn’t properly shown in the video. Also the perspective of my art was more stretched on the back and i didn’t maintain the perspective grid fully to give organic look (i guess i failed ;-;). Looking back at this art i made months ago, i do realize i had a lot of flaws. Anyway along with senpai thanks for everyone's kind comments and constructive criticism. It really helps me grow and improve as an young artist 💐😊. But ah.. I did gave vintage effect on mine on low opacity that one kindda hurt 😿.
The only thing I'd point out about both versions is that the cat's color is too close to the skin color. Because of that I didn't even notice there was a cat until you pointed out that it wasn't looking towards us.
Out of context but i'm stuck in art recently. When I see someone's artworks that so much more beautiful than mine I started doubting myself and lose interest in art. Now I don't even want to pick the pen up again. Could someone please help me?
