*Hi!! Okay let me know… were there any thrift finds that you would have picked up? That’s always a bummer when you think about an item you skipped over, and then it’s gone when you go back… but there will always be something else next time you go! I did find SO many amazing pieces and saved SOOO much money by thrifting my spring decor for 2024!! Have you decorated for spring yet or not quite?! I’ll be sharing how I decorated this year on Mondays video!!*
Just and FYI, I have that salad spinner and the handle broke, it is very flimsy plastic. I do not recommend it.

The trinket tray could even be a coaster on the nightstand in your guestroom or on your desk.
You are so creative! I never would have thought to pick up those pieces. They turned out to be gorgeous expensive looking pieces.
Amanda, notebooks, cards and books re becoming my achillies heel. Have to have it to finish the product. 😊
My kids are always excited to see all the decorations so I do it for my kids with bunny's and eggs when they are grown I will decorate less kid stuff but that why we do it for the kids
How funny that Kyle likes to match you on Sundays, my husband does the same. Our Goodwills have gotten so expensive and have not had much to choose from.
I got some nice Christmas artificial flowers at a church rummage sale. I use them now, 7 years later. I decorate for Easter since I host it. And I also love notebooks. Lol.
I love it! I’ve been saying for weeks I want to go thrifting….i just can’t find the time! I love the transformation!
I can totally relate to the “sticker shock” you get at a retail store after you’ve been at thrift stores. I thrift fairly often and am surprised when I go back into a retail store how much higher the prices are.

That was fun to see all the selections you found at the thrift stores. We have a neat place in this small town called the Nearly New that has many items reasonably priced run by the Woman’s Club here a really neat and popular shop. Homewares, clothing etc. thank you for your ideas for changing items you find!
When buying furniture make sure you take measurements of your home. My daughter got a couch, loveseat, and chair and a half, but the front parlor is a smaller space that needs apartment size furniture. That room is now stuffed with furniture.

Hi Amanda, i forgot to comment when I watched your video when I watched before. I Loved ❤ that glass pitcher I would have grabbed that right away. I was really surprised with what you got and I was really impressed with a lot of what I saw on your video. I really need to go to the thrift stores. Hobbie Lobby is my favorite store ever. I could speed hours in there. I have gone to thee doller stores also. I was a bit a non believer about the DIY that you were talking about but I'm a beliver now

These videos are my favorite of yours. I love hearing how you would use certain items and how you would style them as well. You are really creative and I appreciate hearing your take on so many different items. I think the trinket tray would look nice spray painted a copper color.
Hi Amana. Happy Thursday! The green vase is my best find of yours. I actually have one but it's a very beachy blue. It's a little larger. Mine is on the floor. Also, greenery has come a long way. I actually bought my spring floral stems at Temu! Very affordable and realistic looking
Same. The stems I have gotten from Temu have looked more realistic than similar ones at Michael's, which is all I have around me.
Love hobby lobby. When I was putting florals together I would look at michaels. They will have only what is in season. Joanna too

Hi Amanda, I love the green vase & the DIY you did on it. It looks so good now! I probably would of got a picture or just frames for pictures I need to put in them & maybe some of those pretty glassware. We need some new ones. I'm sure I would have picked some of that furniture. You got some really good finds. I have done that paint method on some vases. I did a wooden bowl too and put little feet under it It looks like a stone bowl. I did not have any baking soda but used corn starch. I also dabbed some pepper on the wet paid. They all came out so good. Love your vision.

The little glass trinket tray that you said was an ashtray… My mom had a set of those and she used them as coasters.
I enjoy the shop with me and the haul. I used to love to thrift for books and home decor but they don't have those kind of stores in Manila.

I soo have been wanting to go thrifting, might be some grief healing I need love the outcome of your diys and I have two wood easels I purchased at DT quick awhile back and Thank you for ideas, they are larger may not fit on my shelves so I will def. Find spot now seeing your outcome, TFS xoxox
Regarding high quality florals, I usually have very good luck in thrift stores. But if I can't find what I want there, I will go to either Michaels or JoAnn Fabrics.

I was in Houston last year for a conference and I went to a Hobby lobby - omg - 3 hours later - it was sooooo cool! I wish I could find something similar in Milan. I bought a ton of greens and wreath making supplies. Please can you go to Michaels - I hear about it through content creators but have never seen inside one

WOW! I 100% agree with Kyle! I can’t believe how the green vase turned out - Amazing! I never thought about painting glass, especially in the manner you did, & I definitely may have to try that on some pieces I currently have! Also, I have to admit when you started painting the photo album I thought there was no way that would turn out but, once again, you proved me wrong & I’m so glad I was able to see that because I think I might have one or two of those. I so appreciate you sharing your vision on how to transform different items you have found!
