This makes me want to go thrift shopping. Every time I go in my little town all I find is true junk. You find beautiful things!
Me too. Mine is junk and to high priced because of resellers.
Same here, junk n it's expensive junk now. I've almost given up wasting my time. Resellers have ruined it.
Oh, but resellers think they have no part of the blame for that. It's just thrift stores being greedy. I know that a lot of the thrift stores in my area check prices online to see what a lot of items are selling for. They have told me that they or their charity should be getting those prices instead of the resellers. I've seen resellers list things at 3 or 4 times what they paid and they still complain about the prices.
Mine too.. it's hard for us that need thing s for a good price to use and not resell.
I enjoyed seeing your thrifted items for spring. I also like that you gave ideas for how to style them.

I love all of your thrifted items. All of my home decor is thrifted. I love the wooden bowl. You could die eggs and put them in there for an Easter look too. I love the nine dollar bundle of flowers . I love that you younger ladies are learning how much better the quality of thrifted older things are so nice and inexpensive compared to regular stores. Here we go to estate sales and the prices are great.

I hv light brown faux wood flooring it’s hard to design with so I just go with white and ivory furniture but I live urban dark wood in ur home,

I have downloaded lots of free domain art from museums. I enjoy Mod Podging them for texture. I take the glass out of the frame so that they look like real paintings.
great post. always love your choices of thrifting. i took a gold picture frame like you got a S A and put a mirror inside it. then changed the backing to a piece of cardboard. i used it on a doily and put a small family picture and a candle stick on it and used it on an end table. used it for years. very versatile item.

I love that first basket.. I've been on the hunt for a basket with the flat back that i can hang on a peg rack..also on the hunt for an old accordian peg rack.. no luck so far🫤 The large bunch of flowers are peonies, the small ones are cherry blossoms and maybe pear tree blossoms. I also frame old cards, gift bags (cut down) and pictures out of books. Your art is beautiful! Love all your candle holders❤(keep the petina!!!) I just filled a white pitcher with bright green springy looking pieces yesterday, then I'll add flowers later. I never buy new frames, only thrift them, that's basically with most of my decor. Cant wait to see your home decorated for spring😊
