- Time to go through the IA and bid on horses for the first time ever! Well... I bid on Roulette in 2019, but I bid on her to train her, not own her. This IA had over 700 horses. I went through almost all of them. Tiring... but luckily I got distracted so I only showed you a few, not all 700 haha! Could this be the start of a new series?
I look at soundness, temperament, and movement as my most important categories. Then I start to consider HMA, height, and age. Then color, and finally gender.

Calliope- 19yo 16hh pinto mare Draft X (PMU foal)
SAM, I live within 2 miles of Times Square, NY. (right across the Hudson river) So I watch your videos purely for educational reasons. I cannot tell you how excited I am to see you teaching us exactly how to judge a horse that dashes back and forth, for only a few minutes, and make accurate assessment as to that horses future talent and abilities.
THANK-YOU.
Looking forward to updates!! Lucky horses!!
Sam, looking forward to this to view. I have a 12 yr old mustang from Green Mountain HMA in Wyoming. I have had her 1 yr and still learning myself. Thank u for all u do for mustangs❤
What a cliffhanger! 😂❤❤❤
👏 I think I'm liking the format of these new competitions. It doesn't rush you as much, so that seems like it would benefit the horse as well.
Congrats on winning these cute horses!❤
Love this!
Can you do a video about how you go about finding the energy in a training horse? We have a couple of mustangs that after desensitizing…can be really hard to get going on the ground and working towards riding.
Congratulations! Love my Mustang from Little Owyhee.
Two lucky mustangs, have a good time with them 😁
I'm so excited about your channel,, I've been waiting for a video and this sounds so excellent the online auction videos are the best especially yours you show the ones you like and there video and explain how they look to you. I LOVED THIS NEW CHANNEL CHANGE ,,or what ever you call it, everyone loves the auction Mustang videos also regular auction videos. 😊 Can't wait for the next 💜🧡
I enjoyed hearing how you analyzed each one! That was very helpful!
I know you introduced the mare, but did the gelding work out?
I like your picks, especially the gelding!!
Good luck with them!!!!!!!!!! Excited to see them progress
It’s awesome that you got 2!
I personally think being where the horse is is a lot more helpful but it's good to check out
I couldn't chose just one but if you have to you have to.
A new series sounds great
So interesting to hear different perspectives and realize that there's a horse for everyone, I usually like the ones that are a bit more reactive. Not over-reactive but I feel like I'd rather teach them how to regulate/dial down than to work to find the energy. Love it!
