I go for the killer deals at Dillard's. A month ago I got a whole new Wardrobe for about 15% of the original cost. I purchased a all suede jacket that was $550 for $48.00. I love the Daniel CREMIEUX line. Excellent quality.
I got a pair of nice wingtips at Kohls for $50. I've treated them nicely and upkeep them and it was well worth the find.
I am 6-8 and over 400 pounds so I have a very hard body to dress for but I think I'm pretty dapper

an outfit i put together is a tan sweater, white collared shirt, black tie, black pants and some nice shoes. sometimes i put a blazer or leather jacket and a flat cap. looks pretty sharp and modest

I once had a black tie concert that I had to go to and so I looked around and was able to get a full black tie outfit with bowtie and leather bag for under $100 it did take me a while but in the end I looked sharp felt sharp and got compliments.

SALES are a great idea. Even places like Macy's. I just bought several Kenneth Cole Reaction suits from them for about $115 EACH. No, they are NOT top-quality suits, but the price was insane. They are slim fit, and look modern and classic at the same time. They even have nice but cheap *wool* suits and suit separates (I think their brand is "Bar III") available for _less_ than that! I got a _nice_ pair of Cole Haan cap toe black dress shoes for about $125! Sweet deals, and some _sharp_ threads.

in the uk (i live in east london) I use charity shops. specially in the richer places you can find great and original clothes not used too much. also tkmaxx is a great source of great clothes for a cheaper price.

Weird, I've been in the group for like 3 months now xD Must have not noticed due to timezone differences, when I got on to see a post about a video it would usually be posted.

He's right about the shoes: my most complimented dress shoes were worth $350 and I got them at a thrift store for $15
Five years ago I came across a decent pair of Cole Haan shoes at the local Goodwill store and I picked them up for six dollars. I believe they probably sold for over $200 new. I keep them clean and polish them regularly and they still look pretty decent.

I'm using some Florsheim shoe crème and conditioner with Allen Edmonds heel & sole dressing. I like the crème better than shoe polish because it seems to sink in and soften up the leather.
